Not as described! Owner kept our deposit!

Unit is not as described in photos. We put down a $400 deposit for this unit and when we arrived it was noticeably dirty and unsafe. There is visible mold and grime on the window ac unit, there is a wide open gap in the wall to the outdoors. There's animal droppings, leftover food splatters, dust and grime on the walls and furniture, cigarette butts, garbage, nutshells. Washer and dryer are rusted and dirty. Door might fall off. Overall nothing was as described. We asked the owner for our deposit back and she became defensive and hostile and kept our money. We have photos, videos, and text messages for reference. We never even unpacked our car. 5/17-5/17.

Bridget arrive at 9 am and occupied my apartment until 12 pm. She had the key and started to make up lies the unit was not clean and she wanted her $400 deposit back.She asked for a dust pan and broom about 10 am she had decided to stay. I ask her to let me inside my apt to take pictures of her complaints but she would not let me in and she refused to send me pictures. She was trying to blackmail me with lies and she said she and her husband were not leaving until I gave them back $400. I told her i had contacted Furnish Finders and I called the police who said it was important to report this in the beginning hours not to wait. I told her i had contacted the police to get her out of my apt. Also the police would see it was immaculate and help me to get possession of my rental. Florida has new squatter rules . I have been a landlord over 50 years and unfortunately its not often i have to go through this. I do not want to see other landlords have to go through this with Bridget. My apt was cleaned by myself and my handman..I have great relationships with all my tenants. Bridget was misinformed about sending a deposit then arriving and wanting it back. She and her husband stayed 3 hours took all the bedding off ate the candy bars and drank the cokes. They refused to send me pictures or let me inside. Great in convience.She wrote the contact herself to pay the rent when she arrived which she never did..

Good place

This is a very nice place to stay, the landlord is very sweet, she always makes sure everything is fine and resolves any problem quickly. I 100% recommend this place

Queit little place Landlord very nice very helpful with any thing u need ..I rented the studio apartment perfect if u are traveling for work..would stay here again thank u ms J for every thing..
