Older lady in the back assaulted me and I'm 7 months pregnant

My husband and I stayed in the shared unit in the back. There is an older lady staying there with a white dog, she had been harassing us since the day after we moved in, accusing us of stealing her dishes and silverware, telling us we're NOT ALLOWED to make any noise after midnight and just acting like she owned the whole house. I'm 7 months pregnant and had tried to avoid her at all costs for my own mental sanity. Today (3/30/2026) my husband and I were getting ready to leave and she confronted me saying we need to return her dishes and silverware (which we do not have) she started yelling at me so I asked her politely to please leave me alone and stop talking to me, my husband has also asked her not to speak to me and if she had an issue to confront him instead. She continued to yell at me and call me names and then ended up hitting me in the face. If it wasn't for my husband helping me calm down, I would have called the police and pressed charges

Cozy space, good location

The room here is just as shown. Its cozy and has a welcoming vibe. It's tucked away in the shade. It's a 5 minute walk to King street where all of the good shops, bars, and restaurants are located. There is also a soul food restaurant right around the corner. It has a spacious closet for your clothes, and there is a washer and dryer on site. You (might) be able to park inside the gate depending on availability. The only down sides... There is a shared kitchen right through the door next to the bed. It can be noisy if your neighbor is in there cooking and the smell of food will come into the room. They also seem to like to slam the door really loud on their way in and out for some reason. I had a good stay here.
