Couldn't have been better
We stayed for three months on a hospital assignment. The house was perfect for our needs, the neighborhood quiet, friendly kids next door that our children made friends with, and Wally was fantastic to work with. The house is nice and comfortable, we really can't say anything negative about the entire experience. Would definitely stay here in the future.

Simply Perfect
We lived in this beautiful house for a year. In our time there we were incredibly happy. The house is very modern with very elegant finishes. The house is beautiful and in a great neighbourhood with a very friendly community. There are fantastic walking and cycling paths all around neighbourhood and we always felt safe. The landlord and his family were very friendly and welcoming and made us feel right at home from day one. When any issues arose they were dealt with in a very quick manner. I would highly recommend this house and we were truly sad to leave.

Awesome, Beautiful Home
This home is a perfect place to call home. It has everything you need. I love the gas stove/oven. Washer/dryer on second floor which is very handy . The home is nestled in a safe, quiet neighborhood (perfect for those who work at night). The gas fireplace is awesome - no more buying wood! The neighborhood is surrounded by lots of walking/bicycle paths. This property has a great backyard-fenced. It is close to everything (restaurants, grocery stores, gas stations, plus downtown Anchorage is only 10 minutes away, also main hospitals 10-15 minutes away at most). The owner is reliable, trustworthy, nice, professional who responds to concerns promptly. I would stay here again!

Wonderful home
We spent a delightful winter in Solitude. W was a wonderful host and the house was roomy yet cozy for our family. The neighborhood was walkable with wide sidewalks and wilder spaces within easy walking distance. Carr Gotstein was our favorite evening walk and we saw stunning sunsets from that overlook. The house is located in easy distance from stores and activities. Our time in Solitude was very enjoyable and we cannot recommend it highly enough to anyone who is looking for a short term rental.
