Comfort Clean Safe

I am a second-time visitor staying, as a healthcare traveler I did two separate contracts at the same hospital near Ms.Joan's home. The house is always clean and organized. Every room has its own privacy and key for security, reassuring that your belongings are safe when you're away from home, which brings comfort to the house guest. There's laundry on the premises. Which is always kept clean! There's also cookware in the kitchen it's truly a home away from home. I love the location it's in the middle of all the shops downtown Boston is less than 10min drive without traffic.

A Convenient and Good Place

I had an enjoyable stay at Joan's palce. Plenty of parking spaces. Joan is super responsie. While she lives half an hour away from the place by driving, she would even come to the hosue at late night when needed. The place is spacious. It has three full bathrooms, so as long as there are less than 4 people living in the house at the same time, you get assigned to a single bathroom. The place is fully furnished and move-in ready.

What a delight!

I didn't come with high expectations, however I was impressed by Joans unwavering thoughtfulness. Modern and beautifully restored home built in the 1890's. Clean, safe, quiet, spacious bedrooms and modern amenities. Air conditioning would have been nice, but the ceiling fan worked remarkably well, I did not have a sleepless night in our recent heat wave. I considered it a privelege to stay in this home and felt a little sadness on departing. I would stay here again.

GREAT STAY

Great location from work and shopping. Excellent amenities, i.e. bath, kitchen, laundry. Bedroom is quiet and cozy as well as spacious. Comfortable bed. Cannot hear other guests while in the room. Fast WiFi. Plenty of street parking. Friendly neighbors. On top of all that, Joan is a fantastic host.

The perfect place for a traveler

This property was absolutely perfect for me. It was clean, safe, comfortable, up-to-date, affordable, and had every amenity I could ask for and more. I actually overpacked: all of my personal bath and bed linens sat in my closet until it was time to leave. The apartment itself has a ton of charm and history, and it's close enough to everything that you don't necessarily need a car. However, I did have a car and I never had trouble finding street parking. For the price, it really can't be beat, I highly recommend that you take a look if you're interested. It was a wonderful place to unwind after a long day at the hospital.

Home away from home

Very spacious, very, very clean. I loved J (the owner) & B ( the cleaning lady) both very professional & thoughtful!! If I ever have another assignment in boston, I'm totally staying here again!!! I would recommend this property to anyone, anywhere, anytime!!

Great Stay

The house is great. Really comfortable, clean and updated. Everything you need is right there. J*** is fantastic. If there is ever a need or concern, she's available right away. The common areas are even cleaned on a regular basis and she goes above and beyond to decorate the home during holidays, making it feel even more like home. Sharing the space really wasn't bad at all. I felt like I had total privacy whenever I wanted or was able to interact with others staying there as well. The neighbors were all very friendly and welcoming as well and spoke to me whenever we saw each other. I'd recommend this unit to anyone looking for a super nice place to stay, with a land lady that really makes sure to see that you have things you need. Public transportation is a 4 minute walk down the street.

3rd Floor Front Room

For starters, J as a landlord made the stay great. J is super kind, communicative and responsive with any questions or concerns. The property has accessible street parking, which made it great for me having my car, but it was also close to public transportation options. The house is clean and has the items you need to get through the week (washer/dryer's, full kitchen, multiple bathrooms). If you are open to roommates, the rental is worth it!
