travel nurse stay
Had a wonderful stay at this property! Very close to a park/dog park, a few minute walk from the Castro muni stop and a beautiful view of the city. Would highly recommend!
Great location and unit
This apartment is at a great location. A 2 minute walk from the muni trains which take you anywhere, lots of food close by + grocery stores. In 5 months never had any trouble parking (which is rare for this city). Didn't have any issues with appliances or utilities during our stay. Building manager, C, is friendly and responsive. Overall great experience and would stay here again in the future.
Quintessential San Francisco!
A'a apartment in the Castro has been nothing short of a quintessential San Francisco experience. The apartment is architecturally unique, fully equipped, and located in one of the best city neighborhoods. During our 5 months here we've had NO trouble parking (a rare occurrence in this city!), and have enjoyed easy access to local restaurants, bars, grocery, and transit. A few highlights: -Large space (we were even able to comfortably host friends/family during our stay) -Full size kitchen -Friendly host (C and A were welcoming and accommodating, from the start! C even helped arrange for storage of our bikes) -Dog friendly area with local parks and green space nearby -For Travel Nurses, this location is central to many hospitals -For Work from Home set ups, the wifi was fast and reliable Feeling lucky to have found such a great spot to call home during our time in SF. Thanks, C and A!
Wonderful property
This apartment is beautiful and the location could not be better. A the owner is very accommodating and helpful. All around a great place to rent.
Gem
Absolute Gem. Wonderful location, clean, cozy, well furnished. Felt safe compared to other parts of the city. Easy to get around the city from. Halloween was a ball!! Castro. Iconic. A+. Cheers. Thanks again.
Lovely apartment
This was the most charming and ovely apartment. It is clean, spacious and nicely decorated. The landlord is amazing. And the location is perfect in the middle of the Castro district in San Francisco.
Beautiful charming apartment, great neighborhood
This apartment is full of charm. The space is large for a one bedroom and is clean, nicely furnished as well as private. The neighborhood is awesome and is close to many restaurants, shopping and other attractions in the Castro district as well as other neighborhoods Haight and NOPA along Divisadero Street. There are great views from the deck outside the apartment. I would highly recommend this space to any person or couple who are looking to stay for one to several months.
Bad experience
Great location, close to many restaurants, bars, parks, etc. It started very good, but quickly became a headache. The property owner scolded me. I asked 1 foot of foil and 1 toilet paper after he texted: "maybe you can throw in $40 for cleaning supplies.." (I stayed 2 months, was away for 2 weeks. $40 is way too much, but ok.) I thought 40 dollars for cleaning supplies could include 1 foot foil and a TP. He texted: "I am not happy about is this ever increasing list of "needs". You have a furnished apartment, incidentals are really supposed to yours.." What else I asked? The list: 1- "Can I wash the pillows? One of them smells" 2- "Do you have a plunger to open the sink?" 3- Detergent for 1 load 4- Iron (advertised) 5- Dishwasher not working 6- Dryer not working These are the requests. It may be excessive, I don't know. But horrible treatment as he emphasized me being from middle east and should respect the host and not call "garbage" to his broken dishwasher. Avoid.
