The best stay

I stayed with Jill for 2 months during my rotations at Tavares Hospital, and it was a wonderful experience. She is the most gracious host and always made me feel at home. The neighborhood is beautiful, quiet, and very safe. The house is spacious, well-maintained, and very clean. Having a private bathroom was such an underrated advantage. I also enjoyed spending time on the patio, and the kitchen was well stocked with utensils and a variety of condiments. Since I did not have a car, Jill went out of her way to help me by driving me at times and even picking up things from the store for me. Im so grateful I found this place. Overall, I couldnt have asked for a better stay during my rotations

Lovely Place

I had an excellent stay at Jill's place in Mount Dora. It's a luxurious home in a beautifully wooded area and Jill is a cheerful, generous and engaging host. Room was spacious, clean and well decorated, and having my own bathroom was nice. Kitchen was masterfully equipped and well organized with plenty of storage space. A highlight was spending time on the gorgeous screened patio, so peaceful back there. Jill and I became friends and shared pots of good strong coffee, and gave each other rides a few times when the need arose. (Miss you, Jill!). I highly recommend this place.

Mount Dora

I was so happy to have landed in a 5 star home. Yes, at times there could be 8 or 10 bunnies being cared for, a beautiful shy cat, and a family of 5 shy and playful raccoons. There was so much love for the animals, I was amazed and in awe of the amount of care I had witness. My host was kind and caring of my comfort. She helped me learn the area, gave me Tours and I felt grateful for the generosity. We shared lots of fun and memorable times. The home has cameras outdoors and for anyone caring for animals of cause there are cameras in doors as well. The cameras were always on the animals. Im sure I may be in Some videos aa I came and left the premise every day. The cameras gave Me a feeling and sense of safety. Its no different then keeping an eye on your child and the nanny while you are away. As for my personal privacy, I discovered Mount Dora florida to have so much beauty and areas where I could write, relax, meditate and enjoy its whimsical pockets of serenity. I decided to stay an extra month. Thank you Jill for your kindness and your smile. Thank you for allowing me into your home. The world is a better place because of you. Be well. G

disappointing

I did not plan on writing a review even though I was unhappy here. I ended up leaving this property early. I thought J nice but soon felt differently. I felt like my every move was being watched and I was tired of it. First thing first, I was surprised to know that the hostess feed a family of wild raccoons. I was scared most days arriving here as they come out during the day. Upon arriving, the room was seemingly clean but the blanket had stains on it. Since I am limited to my writing here, just know the blanket on the bed is not allowed to be washed unless it's at a laundromat. I left the place clean, I did leave three towels on the floor, ones that I used to dry off. I paid $150 non-refundable cleaning fee and $250 for a deposit. I received $220 back because of "the dirty, wet towels and not cleaning the tub". J, you know that I did not leave a mess and had the audacity to not refund all of my money. Why would I clean up 100% knowing I gave you a cleaning fee?! Not okay!!

BEAUTIFUL AREA !

The home is spacious, clean and quiet ! I love the natural and well kept neighborhood which has been great for safe walking and biking. The hostess is pleasant, friendly but still respectful of my private space. Using the large screen patio has been great for watching all the wildlife in the area. Having the extra fridge for my own stuff has been convenient and the kitchen is very well equipped with everything anyone would need ! Don't hesitate to book this wonderful well kept home !

Wonderful Year

J is a wonderful host. She is knowledgeable about local fare, and extremely accommodating. Sadly my year long contract is coming to a close which is the reason I am leaving. J is quiet, considerate, helpful, so kind, and very pleasant to work with. The property is gorgeous, upscale, has every amenity to be could possibly desire. The location is perfect- no traffic, quiet street, nice friendly neighborhood. This place is WELL worth the price!

Nice Place

Great place to stay. Centrally located with a quiet community. Owner is friendly but respectful. The property looked better than online, and has a spacious kitchen.

Perfect location

If you are looking for a quiet neighborhood and a beautiful well kept home with a wonderful landlady...this is for you. The bedroom suite is very spacious and clean. The rest of the house is perfect with a full kitchen. The house is also located close to Mount Dora, Wekiwa spring and many hiking trails. I highly recommend this home.
