I miss this little cabin!
I had the most incredible summer at the Fox Den! Lisa was responsive & professional about everything - from repairs to the house, to giving a heads up if she were to be on the property, to local recs, she was a great resource to have! The cabin itself is awesome. More than enough space for 1 person and has everything you could need. Fully stocked kitchen has a blender, toaster, kettle, baking dishes, every pot and pan, dish rags, cleaning supplies, and cookware/utensils (yes there is a wine opener!). The washer/dryer is easy to work and reliable. She left extra towels, laundry detergent, and dryer sheets in there - so helpful. Dresser is huge and fit most of my clothes but also a mini closet right next to it had plenty of room for my scrubs, jackets, etc. Bed upstairs is so comfortable and she even provides extra sheets and blankets in the trundle drawers. Fox Den was a dream place to stay and get comfortable while I had an amazing adventure. If you can stay here anytime - do it!
Fox Den Review
I called the Fox Den home for almost a full year while on assignment in Soldotna. It is inviting and cozy and perfect for 1-2 people. 10 minute commute to downtown Soldotna and right off the highway for easy access to the rest of the peninsula (but set back far enough that you don't hear the cars). It's in a small quite neighborhood and abuts a beautiful lake. Lisa was super responsive to any maintenance needs and the house was very comfortable year round. Would definitely recommend. I miss my little cabin in the woods!
