I am a gardener and attempt to maintain a Certified Wildlife Habitat on this charming property located in a small 1950's housing development on a dead end street a mile from Guilford College that was founded by Quakers in 1837. The surrounding landscape is restful and reassuring, affording space by a quiet private lake for meditation or relaxation. I retired from University teaching after 27 years; my last faculty assignment was at NCSU for fifteen years. My two daughters live in Florida, though each resided here in Greensboro when they were young. I keep in touch with a number of my former students as well...
