Beautiful apartment. Owners were responsive and easy to work with. The Greenway is beautiful and easy to walk. You gotta try the ice cream shop.

Love this place!

I loved my time here. Roanoke is awesome and this place made it easy to get to get everywhere. It was an easy and safe walk to Carilion. Friendly neighbors. Wish I could have stayed longer! Will definitely be making my way back here and hope to get this place again. Thanks Melissa for being so attentive to all my crazy needs!

Cute house

super cute apartment. it has everything you need for your stay. the beds were really comfortable. conveniently located for anyone that is working at carilion memorial. owners were always responsive and helpful. i loved the location and will definitely come back. thanks again!!!

Love the Greenway!

My wife and I loved staying here, while we looked for and purchasing our new home. Great location, close to downtown and right off the greenway and river. Melissa always took great care of us! She is amazing. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a rental that is a step above the rest! Thanks again!

Pros and Cons

Pros: clean, on the greenway, close to everything, has all the basic amenities, responsive landlord when things are going well Cons: overpriced for the area, old furniture and appliances, unsafe neighborhood, unprofessional landlord when things are not going well The most disappointing part of this stay was that the landlord became petty due to a miscommunication about an early termination of the lease. I was planning to pay the difference until a new tenant was found, but she sent an email telling me to check out of the property early, which led me to believe I no longer had the lease and that I would be fully refunded. Instead, she kept the rent money and rhetorically asked me if she "should no longer be nice" and stated that she should "stop trying to help these girls" when I inquired about the refund. It was condescending and uncalled for over a miscommunication. A very average location like this is not worth the potential for trouble unless the price comes down.

Great one bed room walking distance to Carilion.

great location, located right off the greenway and within walking distance of the hospital. this rental is a tri-plex but you have a private deck and parking. The owners are very responsive to our questions and were even able to get me access to the rental in under 5 minutes when I got locked out. would stay again if back in the Roanoke area

Sweet Home Away From Home

I enjoyed every minute of my 6 1/2 month stay at this property. It was comfortable, cozy and I felt safe the whole time I was there. The owners were very responsive and answered any questions I had. The location was a 3 minute drive to the hospital every morning and the area itself is very easy to navigate. This Texas girl loved being surrounded my mountains and beauty! I would definitely stay here again!

Clean space, convenient location, and responsive owners

My wife and I stayed here for 3.5 months with our dog. We loved the location of the house and enjoyed walking on the greenway which is located directly behind the unit. From the house to my work was 15 minutes, and we could get to downtown in less than 5 minutes to shop, eat, and explore. M is a very attentive landlord and made sure we had everything we needed. If we come back to the area we would definitely stay here again!!

Feels Like Home

We thoroughly enjoyed our 4 month stay at this property! The landlord was always very responsive and accommodating to any and all requests. We really enjoyed the direct access to the greenway and Blue Cow ice cream, when we wanted a sweet treat. We would often spend time on the back deck enjoying the sunset and the view of downtown. The area itself is very peaceful and serene. Youll often find kids playing basketball and the end of the street and get to meet some greenway regulars on their daily jogs or bike rides! The space itself has everything youd need to feel like youre in your own home. The decor is well done and beds are very comfortable. I will be traveling back intermittently and if this unit is available, I will stay again!

Renter Beware

This property is in the basement of a house. You will share the heat (which you do not control) and the water. They do provide you with two space heaters to help keep your space warm. However, you will not be able to blow dry your hair or wash clothes while you heat your space because the electric breaker blows. It is small, including the shower (which is difficult to turn around in because of how small it is). In the month I was there: Someone attempted to get in my car several times, I awoke to the entry door wide open (which made no difference in the temperature of the space-that's an indication of how cold it is), I awoke to the deadbolt unlocked and the door knob locked (I checked to ensure it was locked after I went to bed because I heard clanking outside). If all of this is ok with you, it is very convenient to Carilion and indeed is on the greenway. To the owner's credit, they did fully reimburse my deposits and credited me 10 days of rent upon leaving.
