Amazing stay

I guarantee you will not find a better living situation in Bakersfield! The owners of this home are beyond accommodating and courteous, and have thought of everything to make this a beautiful home away from home for their tenants! There is another tenant who lives in the house who works a 8am-5pm & is quiet and respectful as well, making it a very comfortable living environment. Access to the kitchen & living room, washer/dryer, & the stunning backyard and pool, which is where I spend a lot of my time off. I worked nightshift during my stay here, and had absolutely no issues with noise during the day, and the provided blackout curtains were perfect! This home is also in a great location. I floated for work between both Mercy Downtown & Mercy Southwest, and had no complaints about the 10-15 minute commute, which I was initially nervous about. Cannot recommend this place enough!

Would Recommend!

Excellent host! Quiet and separate sleeping areas, perfect for night shifter. Access to Kitchen and family room at all times, without disturbance for either party. W/D and large available Frig/Freezer space. Pool and fenced outdoor seating area for relaxation. Shared toilet and shower but separated personal sink vanity. Will definitely stay again if return to the area on contract.

Wonderful room and hosts

My husband, G, is a newly hired fire recruit for Kern County Fire Department. We live 2 hours away from Bakersfield so we had to locate short-term lodging while he was at the Training Academy. The hosts, T and J, so generously opened their home and provided the most wonderful room with its private bath, and safe gated-garage parking. Most importantly, G was able to get rested and recuperated in their quiet and serene home after excruciating training everyday. They also look out for G's wellbeing during his 4-month stay. Wonderful hosts, wonderful people. THANK YOU for being G's home away from home.

Extremely comfortable, quiet and private

The A family is incredibly generous and accommodating. I initially wanted to rent a private space or whole unit. J was very patient with me and assured me the area is safe, quiet and my space would be private. I had a master bedroom suite on the opposite side of the house. My bathroom was quite large, with great storage. The natural light that comes in is great. The bedroom has a very large walk in closet, very comfortable bed/bedding and awesome ceiling fan (on remote), a lock on the bedroom door. The room is right off the door from the garage. I was extremely pleased to be able to have my own garage parking and clicker. Initially I was not going to bring my 15pound rescue dog. J convinced me to bring her, and she has thrived here. The backyard is enormous! It's very relaxing and I've napped outside many times. Loved having access to do laundry whenever I needed. They allowed me to take over most of the fridge in the garage which was perfect. TV in bedroom too.
