. I had the pleasure of staying in one of Jamess properties from March 13th, 2026, and it was an excellent experience from start to finish. At the beginning, there was a small hiccup due to an unexpected change on my end, but James was patient, professional, and willing to work with me to find a solution that worked for both of us, which really set the tone. After that, everything was seamless. Communication was prompt and clear. Even outside of regular hours when something was important, he was responsive and made sure any issues got handled. The home was beautiful, clean, and exactly as advertised. The photos matched the space, no surprises. It was comfortable, well maintained, and felt genuinely welcoming. His maintenance and cleaning support were reliable, which made day-to-day living easy and stress-free. Overall, James is trustworthy, professional, and a pleasure to rent from. Id recommend his properties without hesitation, and if I could give more than five stars, I would.

Great stay with a great host.

James and this house are amazing. James is honest and even sent me a new contract after he noticed an error in the prior one that I had already signed that would have cost me more money. He notified me and had another one made with the corrections. The house itself is extremely well maintained with everything inside that you need. The other tenets in the house are all medical related either as students or employees working at the nearby hospitals which this house is an easy 5 min walk to if you're working there. If you're trying to get to the city, it is about an hour ride by bus/train. The upside to living in this area is that it is the only area in NYC where you can ride lime scooters, which I used exclusively to get around out of convenience. Lastly, I drove to NYC from NC and was nervous about where to park my car and whether or not it would be safe. I kept my car parked out in front of the house where there is plenty of parking on the street and never had a single issue.

Excellent host and stay

At first, I was a little hesitant about putting down a deposit before seeing the property, but James reassured me throughout the entire process and followed through on everything he promised. The neighborhood felt very safe, which gave me added peace of mind. Its clear that hes always looking for ways to improve the property and make the experience even better for his guests. Whenever any issues came up, he responded quickly and addressed them right away. Overall, I had a great experience and would definitely recommend this property.

Perfect place for a travel nurse to stay

My room was ideal, quiet , comfortable and a comfortable temperature. My bed was comfortable. J was available if anything was needed. I give this house 5 stars.

Not sure if the good reviews here from this provider are legit

First id like to preface by saying i have bank receipts & text messages receipts for everything. I Sent $300 deposit initially to hold room a week before i could move in, seeing that i was at the time out of state. I spoke with a person briefly named JP over the phone claiming to be the owner. He sent me pictures of the space & previous reviews from purported tenets who used the space previously & were satisfied. The following week he emailed me a copy of the month to month lease agreement. I mentioned to him id like to sign the lease in person & see the residence before sending the first month rent. He then stated to me he didnt have time to show me the space & recommended me signing the lease & sending over the first month rent & he would send me the door codes & wifi access. I declined to send any money before signing a lease & seeing the place in person. Ive tried ample times to reach out to this person & ive yet to hear from them & he retained my deposit.

Home away from Home

First things first, the photos are 100% accurate. The location is clean, modern and convenient. The property is in a safe location so I was able to walk to Montefiore. The landlord was a great host. He is one call or text away and will address any concerns you may have. I stayed for a total of 5 months. If I renew my contract I will definitely return.

Perfect location for Jacobi and Montefiore

This property is super cute & beautifully updated. J is a superstar landlord and I would definitely recommend staying here. He is easy to get along with and the other tenants are professionals. If your contract is at Jacobi or Montefiore you are in luck because theyre right around the corner.

Great Place!

One of the best places to stay at for the price. Place is very comfortable and has everything you need. J is very accommodating and is quick to respond to any issues around the house. Never once did I have an issue with James. Area is very safe as well and is close to grocery stores. Definitely would have renewed my lease if I didn't have to move out of NY. Overall, I had a great experience and highly recommend this place.

Comfortable home

I had a GREAT stay here for 4 months. The house has everything you need and J is wonderful with communication. Everything is modern and updated, and the other tenants were always kind and respectful. I would have stayed longer if I hadn't gotten a new assignment. I definitely recommend anyone to stay here if they're looking for a calm and comfortable environment to come home to. Nice Home Base

I spent 3 months living in this house while on assignment and had a great experience. J and the other healthcare based tenants I lived with were very friendly and considerate, almost everything in the house is new and updated, its in a nice neighborhood, laundry on site, and street parking was usually easy to find. I was gone most weekends but it was perfect for what I needed during the week. I would absolutely recommend the stay if youre looking to be around the area. Thanks, J!
