Basement apartment with bathroom and shower. Separate entrance through back of property. Kitchenette with sink, microwave, small refrigerator. Family room and separate bedroom. Washer/dryer is in the bathroom and would be shared usage with owner. Walking distance to Metro, Old Town, Del Ray. Quiet, family oriented neighborhood. We have a cat who will stay upstairs, but want renters to know in case of allergies.

Excellent place!
The fully furnished basement of this property allows for an excellent mix of privacy and space compared to many other similar options in the area that are more expensive with not as many amenities! The owner was very gracious to provide me with anything necessary to make the space more comfortable such as a dehumidifier, fan, space heater, etc.! The location is just an earshot from Old Town Alexandria and the metro allowing for direct access to downtown D.C., Reagan National Airport (DCA), and the Amtrak train station. I very much enjoyed my stay here and I cannot recommend staying here more.

Great Place!!!!
The basement is very roomy and furnished nicely, but the highlight of living in this household is you will have an incredibly caring and understanding owner of the property. The owner provided us with things we needed during our stay such as a dehumidifier, a rotating fan, etc. The basement is also lovely and is the perfect place to stay if you want a great experience while in DC/ Alexandria. I could not recommend staying here enough!
