Stay in San Mateo

Super chill furnished place in the heart of downtown San Mateo. It's very close to the Caltrain Station to SF/SJ as well as multiple different samtrans bus stops. It's bikeable, there's a nice park in walking distance, and if you have a car there are plenty of amazing places to explore. A lot of awesome food places. A movie theater close by. The place itself is very clean, has all the amenities you could need for a brief stay. It was honestly amazing and Ratna was so accommodating with my career situation. I highly recommend staying here!

Amazing Stay

The room itself was spotless super clean, no bugs, no dirt, nothing at all. It felt fresh and well taken care of from day one. The landlord is also wonderful and throughout my stay shes been very responsive and easy to reach by text. It really gave me peace of mind knowing she was nearby and attentive. The location is unbeatable. Im currently interning at Verkada, and its only a three-minute walk to the office. The Caltrain station is less than five minutes away, which makes commuting anywhere super convenient. The apartment is right in downtown San Mateo, so everything you need is nearby (food, movies, activities), including a small convenience store right in front of the building. On top of all that, the area feels very safe. Overall, this has been an amazing place to stay Id highly recommend it to anyone.

Great stay

This is a great stay - Ratna is an amazing landlord and for any issues that I ever had, I could always count on her to quickly respond and resolve them. The location is just 2 blocks away from the Caltrain Station so it's super convenient for commuting to work anywhere in the Bay Area or even SF. It's also just a few blocks from downtown San Mateo which is a great area to hang around - there are a lot of cafes and options for food. I stayed through the summer and definitely had a positive experience here!

Summer Internship stay with Ratna

- Amazing location, very very close to Caltrain! Cannot stress how nice this is for interns trying to travel to SF or commute to work (roughly 5 min walk) - Close to the downtown area which has tons of cute stores and great food - Responsive landlord, gave digital tour and was able to sign papers promptly Overall: 5 Stars

Excellent Stay

I loved the place! It was very cozy and fully furnished. It is also in downtown San Mateo so it is extremely close to many stores, restaurants, etc. For being in downtown, the rent is also very fair. The landlord was very nice as well. She made sure that a cleaner came every month and cleaned the place and also that any issues (e.g. if something accidentally broke) was fixed within 1 or 2 days. She also drove me to the Airport on my last day. Overall, great place, great landlord, and I feel very lucky to have found the place!
