Half-assed and full-priced
Im only giving this place 1 star because I have to. These people make $10,000 a month in rent off this one property but still cut every corner they can find. Everything in this apartment is held together with duct tape, and the cleaning fee is just pocketed by the owners. Theres holes in the walls, windows dont shut completely and theres no insulation in the living room. When we moved in everything was dirty and we found dead bugs on the shelves. We had an ant problem for 2 months. The walls are thin both in terms of insulation and noise. One of our three rooms was always cold, and you will hear everything going on in the other apartments as well as being threatened by the neighbors and getting tickets for parking on the street. This place is completely unprofessional for being so pricey and in the neighborhood it is. Spend the money and rent somewhere else, youll regret renting here just like I did.

We are sorry to learn that you were displeased with your five month stay spanning November 2023 through March 2024.
Our response to your statements are as follows:
*Cutting corners: This apartment features hardwood floors, ten foot ceilings, exposed brick, granite countertops in kitchen and in the full bathroom which features a deep soaking tub, walk-in aromatic cedar lined closet,
brand new canopy style queen bed, new smart Roku wall mount 65 TV, tongue and groove wood ceiling and crystal chandelier in living room, floor to ceiling cherry cabinets in kitchen and full size stainless steel appliances.
We have not cut corners in this apartment or any others.

*Duct tape: none present!
*Cleaning fee: We have professional cleaners come in after every guest.
The cleaner for this apartment after your stay logged more time than in any other cleaning in the five years we have been on furnished finder. The cost of cleaning after your use of the apartment actually exceeded the cleaning fee you paid.
You were clearly upset at having to pay for cleaning, however, to claim that we just pocket the cleaning fee because you werent happy with it is simply unfounded and slanderous.
*Holes in walls: There are no holes in the walls?!?
Windows not shutting: User error!
Dirty: Apartments are professionally cleaned before and after every guests stay. If there was anything missed at your arrival, all you had to do was report it and we would have immediately remedied the situation. No report or claim prior to this review was ever made.
Ants: True. Mr. Rowe reported ants in February and Michael came out next day and sprayed the perimeter of the building and also put ant bait out.
You texted us and said there were no maintenance issues and that ants were gone!
Wall thickness: the walls are double brick with foam insulation in between. That being said, the exposed brick is not as good of an insulator as modern building methods (this building is on the historical register and is gorgeous). Since the exposed brick is a little colder, we have added electric wall and space heaters in addition to the central Hvac system. They just need to be turned on to be toasty warm in the winter! Also, as in most apartments, you can hear neighbors at times. We live in a house and can hear our neighbors! The walls are thicker here than most!
*Parking: you were allotted designated offstreet parking.
Also, parking on the street is free. The only reason you would ever get a ticket is if you parked illegally.
*Pricey: You paid $1,795 monthly which included $70 Google WiFi plus $200 for utilities.
Therefore, rent is actually below market rate at only $1,525 per month for this fully furnished apartment in one of the best neighborhoods around.
Sorry again that you werent satisfied with your stay. We only wish you would have indicated anything about any of this during your stay so that we could have done something about it instead of three months after the fact!
