Lakewood Review

This was a great place to stay, big back yard for dogs. Dax was very responsive and fixed any issues / concerns if anything came up. Great location also and very safe neighborhood. Only things to note that you have no control over the AC or heat - that is controlled by texting the landlord, Dax. The other thing to note is that the noise level from upstairs to the basement is noticeable so if you are a light sleeper then be aware of that. The upstairs tenant was quiet most of the time so it wasnt a huge deal, just something to consider. All in all it was a great 6 months experience.

D was our landlord for over a year after we moved to Colorado from Pennsylvania. During our time renting from him, we did not experience a single issue. He was always prompt with responding to maintenance issues and very flexible with his own expectations for us as tenants. He was transparent from the beginning and left us with no surprises or misinformation. The place we lived in was accurately represented in the pictures and served to be a very comfortable place for us to begin our new lives in Colorado. His business with us was honest, and the place was reasonably priced. No extra charges! You cannot beat the location. Close to highways and mountains!

Friendly and Responsive Landlord with Great Property!

The apartment is exactly like the photos. It's a basement level apartment, but somehow there's plenty of natural light. It's completely furnished with all your cooking needs, private washer and dryer, and there's parking in the driveway, which for me, was a huge deal! I was a travel nurse at Lutheran, and it took me about 15 minutes to get to work, about 15 minutes to get to downtown, or to lively bars in the highlands, and I could walk my dog to Belmar and grab a coffee! Plus its only 5 minutes to an orange theory, which was a bonus for me! D is a great landlord, and really does care about his tenants. He makes you feel at home, and is always available whenever you need him, and if you have a cute dog, he might even let him out for you while you're at work! I was bummed to leave, because it was one of my better living situations Ive had in 8 years of travel nursing. I would hands down recommend this apartment and D as a landlord to anyone searching for housing in the Denver area!
