Sweet little cottage

I spent an outstanding summer here in 2025. The cottage is well equipped with everything you may need and is quiet, secluded and very comfortable. The yard is fenced and has pea grass that blooms beautiful yellow blossoms in the summer.Great area my dog likes to lay out in. The neighborhood is very quiet even during events but close to everything. One thousand feet to the east is the ocean with a life guard station and one thousand feet to the west is a pier with views of the sunset on the river. The owners are a pleasure to deal with and are very responsive. Certainly will be a great memory.

Wonderful Winter Stay

My husband and I, along with our black lab, stayed for our third year at this lovely home in Ormond By-the-Sea. We definitely hated to leave! The weather was a little nippy when we first arrived in January, but then warmed up nicely. The sunsets are beautiful on the river side at the dock and the sunrises were spectacular on the ocean side. Even got to see the play, "Come From Away," that played at the Peabody in Daytona. Communication is easy with the owners and they are very responsive. The neighborhood is extremely quiet (my husband especially appreciates that), even during the Daytona 500 and Motorcycle Week. As I mentioned in last year's review, there is a wonderful ice cream shop up the street - really enjoyed that! We are planning a 4-month trip for 2026 and are definitely looking forward to it!

Beautiful, Cozy, Safe!!

I cannot say enough good things about this property and the owners, Lise and Caddie! The property itself is very cute, cozy, well cleaned, exactly as picture and in a very safe area. It's close to the beach, a cute ice cream shop and stores are close by. The owners have been absolutely wonderful! Very accommodating, friendly, respectful and great with communication. I have very much enjoyed my stay here as a travel healthcare worker and highly recommend it to those coming to the Ormond beach/Daytona area! Thanks Lise and Caddie for sharing your beautiful home with me!

Three-month Ormond-By-The-Sea Winter Rental

My husband and I (and our black lab) had a wonderful 3-month stay at this home in Ormond-by-the-Sea. The beach and small fishing pier were a short walk away from the house. There were also some restaurants within walking distance, as well as a great ice cream stand. We even had a local tortoise stroll into the yard for a visit! The house was very clean on our arrival and appeared exactly as pictured. Loved the lanai, where you could sit and hear the birds. The hosts were very easy to communicate with, very responsive. Enjoyed visiting the beach, the downtown area with some very nice shops and restaurants,dog park within walking distance, and St Augustine. We are planning another trip in the winter of 2024 and hoping to visit Blue Spring State Park to see the manatee. Looking forward to our return visit!
