Comfortable Bedroom

I stayed here for a month while I was in school and it was perfect! The house was comfortable, clean and had lots of amenities. I never felt like I didn't have enough privacy and can't speak highly enough of the homeowners. Felt like a home away from home.

STAYING IN THIS ROOM AND HOME WAS A HOME AWAY FROM HOME. MRS. DENNIE WAS EXTREMELY ACCOMADATING AND KIND. THE THREE MONTHS I STAYED HERE WERE FANTASTIC. IT WAS CLEAN, PEACEFUL, AND WELCOMING. ALTHOUGH YOU SHARE THE HOUSE WITH OTHER RENTERS, MRS. DENNIE HAS AN EFFECTIVE SYSTEM THAT ENSURES EVERYONE HAS THEIR OWN SPACE. I CANNOT RECOMMEND STAYING HERE ENOUGH!

I cannot say strongly enough how wonderful my stay was! The property is absolutely gorgeous and immaculate. The host D. was truly gracious, accommodating, and concerned my needs were met. Host D. went above and beyond to make sure all renters felt welcome and comfortable but D. also respected renters' desired level of engagement and privacy. As a retired nurse & flight attendant, D. made sure all renters maintained consideration for fellow renters (especially night shift workers). I thoroughly enjoyed my stay! It was a blessing! As a graduate student, this is a perfect site for those traveling to Duke University. Good location. 15 miles from Duke School of Nursing. Very quiet. Multiple quiet areas to study/focus/relax. Great internet connectivity. Access to office with HP Office Jet Pro that can copy, print color/B&W, scan, and fax. Very reasonable pricing for extensive accommodations provided, safe location, security system, luxurious surroundings, and home away from home feel.

I stayed in at this property for one month during a clinical rotation and it was very nice, safe and clean. The house and property are very spacious. Although you share the house with other renters and the owner's family, I never felt like I didn't have space to myself. I loved sitting out under the covered back porch. I would definitely recommend this unit. The owner and her family are wonderful people, she was always making sure all of my needs were met.

This room and home were very very comfortable. Homeowner D was always helpful and always made me feel so welcome. She truly has a servants heart and always made me feel welcomed, made room in the refrigerator and pantry for me, neighborhood is peaceful and beautiful. This is one of the very best experiences I have had of many in a room rental. Actually, I hated to leave. The screened in porch and sunroom were especially pleasant after a long shift. Highly recommend this warm, welcoming home and homeowner!!

Clean place with a feeling of home. Host is welcoming and accommodating. Neighborhood is nice. In a scenic part of Durham County. Have stayed twice and will be back.

The room is very large with an additional living room down the hallway. The property is large, and peaceful with a beautiful back porch. The host family is truly lovely. I always felt comfortable and at home. If I wanted privacy I could watch TV in the upstairs living room, or stay in my huge bedroom, but if I felt like company I was always welcome downstairs with the family. One of the deciding factors for renewing my contract was that I enjoyed staying here so much!

I had an amazing time with the owner and family which are a sweet southern charm. The rooms were very nice and they even provided me a desk upon request which helped me since I was job hunting. Had many good experiences with them and they even helped me with my job hunting. I think the house rules were more than fair and made for a safe and pleasant experience. I hope the best for the entire family and cant wait to see them again

I needed a short term place because my husband was a patient at Duke. It was convenient for me to go back-and-forth to visit my husband. I always felt welcome, the house is very clean and its a large home so there is plenty of room. I especially enjoyed sitting on the big back porch, drinking my coffee in the mornings and watching the deer. If I need to come back to this area for my husbands healthcare, I hope a room will be available so I can stay here.

During our stay, my husband and I was very much at home everyone within the home co-existed well the home owners are great people to be around we didnt experience any sense of unwelcomeness on the basis of accommodation I would give this home nothing less of 5 stars, A key point here is that we had great communication with each other that made everything ran very smoothly. We would most definitely stay here again

I rented a room here. The owner is amazing and so accommodating. The rooms are SO comfortable and clean. Close to hospitals. The community is amazing. Theres walking trails right from the back yard. Horses, tennis courts, pool. Very empresses!
