RENTERS BEWARE! I WOULD NOT RENT FROM STEPHEN AGAIN

I dont usually leave reviews, but I would NOT rent from Stephen again. We had no signed lease or security deposit and handled everything verbally. The DAY BEFORE my $950 monthly rent was due, he asked if I was renewing. I decided to move and he agreed I could prorate 2 days. The next day, he accused me of taking advantage of him and said my lack of notice cost him $950. I offered TWICE to STAY AND PAY for another 2 weeks to make it right. He declined and told me he'd prefer I move out THAT DAY, so I did. Since I had paid for 2 days but left after 1 at HIS request, I asked for the unused $30.64 back. He refused because of the notice issue. Its not the $30.64, its the principle. My bedroom also had NO lock, and Stephen entered it without permission while I was still moving out. The house itself wasnt my issue. It was how everything was handled and the loss of trust. Protect yourself and GET EVERYTHING IN WRITING. Personally, Id save yourself the headache and rent elsewhere.

S is an AMAZING host!! Place is clean, quiet, comfortable, affordable, and neighborhood is safe!!! Whether you are looking for a short or long term stay, this is it!! Host is knowledgeable about the area; restaurants, entertainment, beaches, music events, hang out spots, shopping centers, parks/ trails, etc. Location is super convenient if working at Orange Park Hospital!! Location has walking/ bike trails, pool access, and dock views are amazing!! Location also in area of Walmart, Target, Publix, Fresh Market, And more. I really enjoyed my stay and would absolutely recommend to anyone booking!! Host made me feel welcomed, accommodated any requests, and made sure I had the best Guest experience Oh and Pets are super cute!!

Great house, beautiful room, the community is amazing. Wish I could have rented, timing wasn't right.
