This place hit the spot

I moved to town from another country with just one suitcase in hand. This place was 100% what I nTexas. I found the managment staff to be very attentive to my needs and super flexible, the furnishings to be what's needed to get by, and the location to be one of the best available for its price point in all of atlanta. The neighborhood is transitioning, but its walkable to west side and so close to where I worked in midtown. I got bbq from the guy down the street every weekend. His brisket is the best you can find outside of texas. I would recommend this property to anyone who's interested.

Poor communication with A/C issues

I am a bit disappointed with the management team after my stay. The A/C was broken when I initially moved in, and then broke again for the entirety of the last week of my stay without fix. The management team was not even willing to discuss any type of reimbursement for the lack of amenity (A/C) that was supposed to be included with the rent. It felt like they completely disregarded my discomfort when I could have stayed somewhere else more comfortable, given its a second floor apartment. The apartment was up to 80 degrees at one point. I completely understand these things happen but I dont think its fair not to compensate the tenet when it does because that was an amenity we pay for in the agreed rent/lease.

Upon your move-in on 9/2/24, we provided a fan to ensure your comfort, and the A/C was repaired promptly the next day on 9/3/24. Unfortunately, when you reported the issue again on 9/20/24, the repair required parts that were on backorder, and we deeply regret that the issue could not be fully resolved before your move-out on 9/29/24. We understand how frustrating this situation must have been, especially in the warmer weather, and we truly empathize with your discomfort. Please know that our team did its best to address the situation as swiftly as possible within the constraints we faced. We value your feedback and will review our processes to improve how we handle similar situations in the future. Great 3 month stay - Cirque du Soleil

I was with a group of five (and a dog) staying at J's place while we worked at the Cirque du Soleil show in Atlanta. This place was perfect and we were able to comfortably stay and feel safe the whole trip. Minor issues were dealt with promptly by the owner and we were less than 10 minutes from downtown by car. Good restaurants nearby and easy door dash delivery etc. I recommend this place to anyone who wants a quiet neighborhood with an attentive owner. She lives in the neighborhood and was easy to communicate with when we needed to. Great amenities like Netflix, Amazon, etc included and good A/C and heat control. We are enjoyed our stay in this spacious lower level, multi room flat and will stay again if our circus comes back to Atlanta in the future. Thanks again J, youre the best.
