Perfect stay for me and my kitty!

This place had everything I needed for my 6mo travel nursing contract. Starr was very responsive to all my issues/requests and was very flexible when my move out date needed to be changed. The surrounding neighborhood is very walkable, so many cute restaurants and shops nearby. Being a 5min drive to the beach was a huge plus on pretty days!

Honest review..

Overall nice & understanding landlord. Unfortunately living in this basement wasnt ideal for a night shift worker. The noise levels varied from some days being louder than others making it very difficult to sleep despite making it known to her and asking about the noise prior to moving in. Accused my sweet cat whos never scratched walls of scratching walls but did end up returning the pet deposit. While I was away on a trip she did come through the basement for laundry which I didnt appreciate since its in the garage not the rented area, it did feel like overstepping to me. Not sure if thats the culture in Seattle.

We loved this place!

Starr is a wonderful landlord! Her place is clean and very cute. We stayed here with our two animals and they enjoyed it as well, especially being able to play in the yard! The neighborhood is so sweet and very walkable and the neighbors are very nice. We really enjoyed our stay here and would definitely recommend it to anyone looking to stay in Seattle.

Starr's apartment has been such a cozy home for me over the last several months. It is in the perfect walkable location to so many restaurants, bars and shops in Ballard, as well as Golden Gardens and the Ballard Locks. The space is very well stocked and the king sized bed is a dream. Starr is extremely friendly and responsive to needs and her son has been a great dogwalker for my little schnoodle. Will miss this little haven!

Amazing!

This place is well-equipped with everything you'll need. Everything is new and the bed is extremely comfortable. It is extremely sunlit and in a perfect location! Just a short walk to so many great Ballard restaurants and the Locks - I loved living here! Not to mention Starr is one of the best landlords/people I've ever met, making this place a true gem!!

Her name says it all

Her name is S, and she is a truly an amazing person. The instant I met her, she was welcoming. I was her first tenant and so elated to have been. This place is close to EVERYTHING. You have bars, shops, restaurants, and my favourite- Golden Gardens. I ran there almost every day and its such a bonus. Shes only about 1mi and 900ft from the locks! S is really communicative, so dont be afraid to talk to her about literally anything, or ask her. She might have some minute favours, but there not inconvenient. Shes got a 13 yr old teenage son whos also pretty cool, but he hangs with his buds a lot if hes not skateboarding. She was one of my best neighbours, a great person and mom overall. Youll love living here!
