Great host and lovely location!

Felicia is a such a gracious host. She goes above and beyond to accommodate her tenants. Is always quick to respond to her messages when an issue needs to be fixed. Gives great recommendations to local restaurants or places to sight see. The home is located in a nice neighborhood and in close distance to other local stores/restaurants and within 15 mins of New Haven downtown. So you're easily able to get anywhere super fast! The one bathroom is definitely manageable to share with other roommates, especially if on opposite shift times. I really enjoyed my time here and would come back! I highly recommend staying here as you'll have the best time there.

unprofessional

Not recommended according to my experience. I have to be honest and direct so others don't have the same outcome. At first Felicia seemed accommodating. She has a 3-4 bedroom home with ONE bathroom. Within a week, I realize she was letting her boyfriend sleep over and was also letting the other roommates boyfriend sleep over. I loss privacy and it was very noisy because of the drinking and smoking she allows. I work night shift and I was looking for a quiet place not a party house. Not to mention at times there were 5 people using ONE bathroom. Felicia mentioned in the listing no smoking and bathroom toiletries provided. She was asking for me to buy toilet paper when all these people were using the ONE bathroom. When I communicated the issues I was having she gave me 1 week to move out. Totally unprofessional and with a total disregard to me and my situation as a traveler. I had to scramble to find a place while working 4 night shifts at the hospital. This is what happens when people try to supplement their income by renting their rooms but have no idea how to host and treat their guests. Maybe this is a place for younger person that likes to party and works day shift but it wasn't for me. I like it quiet and clean. The other issue was the TWO white cats leaving hair all over and not being cleaned up. I was constantly vacuuming and dusting the hair. I do not recall anyone ever cleaning the bathroom. not a good experience for me. rent at your own risk. I have pictures and messages to back up this post.

Awesome stay!

F was a great host! She was very accommodating and made me feel right at home. I loved being close to the beach and being able to run with beautiful views. My room was just the right amount of space. F is hardly at home and I felt like I had the place to myself many of times. This place is a great location to many hospitals!
