Best Rooming Experience Ever!
I cant say enough good things about my stay here! Im a student who desperately needed housing for a summer internship, and I was beyond lucky to find this place. Check-in was smooth, the apartment was spotless, and the dcor is fun and full of personality. The location couldnt be more convenientclose to two grocery stores, a library, laundry, the Richmond pool, and just a short drive into the city or across the bridge into Marin, where I spent many weekends exploring. The views are breathtaking. I made it a ritual to climb a nearby hill every evening to watch the sunset over the Richmond shorelineyou can see multiple bridges and islands from up there. And dont miss the ferry into San Franciscoits only $4 and absolutely worth it. But what truly made my stay special were the neighbors and the hosts. They welcomed me to BBQs in the garden, and the hosts were always quick to respond to anything I needed. I highly recommend this place.
Amazing place!
We adored everything about S and M place. It was so easy to live there - amazing walks to see the sunset over the bay, easy access to Point Richmond. The indoor/outdoor living experience was ideal. Super comfortable beds, well appointed kitchen, beautiful spot! S and M are fantastic and made everything so easy for us. Cant say enough good things about this property!
Comfy, relaxing, and homey feel
This is hands down one of my favorite places I've stayed. I felt at home and comfortable immediately. S was easily reached for any questions and the family who live above this place are so thoughtful and kind. The bed is comfortable, the kitchen worked fine for me without the oven (there is a toaster), I was able to work from home when needed with no internet issues. I was able to park right in front of where I stayed. I loved coming home from work to this place where it's peaceful, with lush greenery, quiet, and a sleepy part of the Bay Area. Short, easy walk to small markets, restaurants/cafes, and post office. Nice area to go for walks and interesting hikes that are within 5 minutes drive. I visited the Rosie the Riveter museum and went to the lovely restaurants in that area and checked out the vibrant life in Richmond. If you have mobility issues -- you may want to visit first. You have a several steps up from where you park to the front door and sloped streets.
great home
This was a great home. Very comfortable, very roomy and every amenity you could ever need. The owners are fantastic and very responsive. The neighborhood and neighbors are all very friendly. Wonderful things to do all within walking distance. Highly recommend staying here.
