Ok until...

One of the more affordable places in VT. Two issues...they only accept cash payments and, without asking if it was ok with the renters, the owners allowed their relative to camp out in the living room for over a week...close to two weeks. It was very strange and uncomfortable. We werent sure where he was showering or using the bathroom, though I suspect he was using the bathroom i was paying for (I found a tube of toothpaste that wasnt mine in the bathroom and that same toothpaste disappeared as mysteriously as it appeared.

Wonderful Country Location

I recently rented the private room downstairs with the private bath and truly enjoyed my time there. The owners are truly amazing and made all attempts for me to feel welcomed and comfortable. Although the home is located in a rural and secluded setting, the WiFi signal was strong. The kitchen is a shared location with all tenants and never had a problem storing items ect. Everyone did their part to keep this area clean and ready for use by an another. Owners were readily available whenever a question presented via phone/text. Throughly enjoyed my stay and would highly recommend to others as well.

Quiet set up for travelers

M and I were very gracious hosts. The main part of the house has 3 rooms to rent, & the landlord/lady live on the side of the home. My room was upstairs and quite large, with a large walk-in closet. There was another room upstairs that was rented out to a nurse couple, and a room downstairs rented out to another traveler. The room downstairs has a private bathroom, and the bathroom upstairs is shared by the two upstairs tenants. The home is kept clean by all tenants and the landlord. There is also a wood stove downstairs that keeps the entire home warm. The kitchen and living room downstairs are shared by all, however, since we all had different schedules, I usually had the entire home to myself. There was also a sweet lab that would hang out with me whenever I sat in the backyard. On one occasion, 3 deer were grazing out back. I highly recommend this home to anyone that will be working in the area to rent a room here!
