Serene Bungalow

We spent six months at this apartment, enjoying its serene beauty, lush landscape, and fresh forest atmosphere. The apartment is located on a quiet, dead end street while remaining just minutes from shopping, restaurants and coastal beaches. The landlords are communicative, proactive and genuinely lovely people.

Lovely safe space

This is a lovely little safe space to stay in. We ultimately decided to stay here for the safety, the serenity and the lake obviously. We stayed for 8 months and had a lovely stay getting to know the landlords and their family. They are so sweet and treated us and our daughter as family. The place is a perfect size for a small family with a young toddler and the front yard served as an amazing playspace for my daughter. We arrived to a clean space and enjoyed our stay throughly. It was a quiet stay, can barely hear any sounds even during the day. The commute to Yale is an easy one taking around 15 minutes or so. We would definitely stay again if we ever came back! Oasis IT IS!!!!

This property was such wonderful place to rent! Between the location, the lake/views, the safety and comfort I was so happy to call this a home away from home. The serenity and oasis vibe was felt throughout my stay and I would love to stay here again if I return to CT. The owners are thoughtful hosts with awesome communication, they are trustworthy, clean, safe, and quiet! Astounding property!

Paradise!

This apartment is a slice of heaven! The road is quiet with a forest backdrop. I felt safe and so unbelievably comfortable. I worked all three shifts while living here and never had noise disturb my sleep. The landlords are amazing and very responsive. Lake life, hammock life, in the trees<3.

Nightshift Nurse

Stayed at this residence for 6 months while working nightshift at Yale New Haven. Only a 20 minute commute with little to no traffic. Never had any issues that were not resolved quickly. The landlords and their family were so amazing, always helpful and accommodating. Rarely heard any noise that disrupted my nightshift sleep schedule. Highly recommend a stay at this residence!

Such a great apartment!

My boyfriend and I (plus our pets) stayed at the apartment for 5 months and had a wonderful experience! The apartment was perfect for one person or a couple. It had very nice furnishings and the kitchen was fully stocked. The private entrance has a lovely pathway right up to the door. The back porch is wonderful to sit around in and there is plenty of space in the shared backyard. There was ample storage in the basement for all of our stuff. Plenty of space to park our two cars on the street. The neighborhood is amazing with a lake right nearby that is only for residents. The beach isnt far at all and theres super cute small towns nearby with fun activities. Its a quiet and beautiful area just 20 minutes from Yale New Haven Hospital. The nearby shops and grocery stores are nice and clean. T and T were just awesome! They are super easy to communicate with, open to suggestion, prompt on fixing anything (including a new washer and dryer!) and all around kind, genuine people. They gave us great recommendations and went above and beyond to make sure our stay was a great one. Though we shared a wall with them, neither they nor us heard anything on our respective sides so its a great place for night shifters. Overall, we really enjoyed staying at this apartment and would absolutely love to stay again if we ever come back to Connecticut. We couldnt recommend this place enough! :)
