A nice home

I stayed here for three months while I worked nearby. The home is clean and Ada is a kind and communicative landlord. During my stay the housemates were quiet and considerate and everyone took care to clean up their share of the kitchen.

Short Term Stay

Although I only stayed for about a month, it was a great place to stay. Ada (the host) communicated in a timely manner and was able to address all my concerns, she also was more than willing to work around my work schedule to accommodate my move in day and get me familiar with the house. It's a nice little house on the South side of Stevens Point. The washer and dryer seemed to be fairly new and in great condition. Neighbors were very friendly and allowed me to park my trailer in their back yard. Overall, I would recommend it as a place for a single traveler that doesn't need anything super fancy and is looking for a nice quiet place to stay at an affordable price.

Great location, huge bedroom

Highly recommend. Host is very nice and accommodating. We didn't see each other much, but when we did she always asked if I needed anything. The rooms in the basement are open and available if you need a larger area to work out. However, the pictures of the bedroom do not do justice to how large this room is. Over my 11 weeks. I accumulated quite a bit of stuff in that room (two lamps and two tray tables) and still had more than enough room to easily move around, including exercise. There's more than enough drawer space as well as the top of that long dresser. Something I find very rare in rentals. The location is amazing. If you work at the hospital, you'll be there in under 10 minutes. In fact, almost everything in Steven's Point is within 10 minutes. It's also nice and quiet - both the location despite being in a main street and the roommates.

Really great property

I really enjoyed my time at A's house. A made sure my stay here was hassle-free from day one of arrival at Stevens Point. I found the house to be neat, clean and everything at proper place as promised previously. Occupants were of a pleasant personality and I never had to struggle for anything really. Locationwise it's great and close to the city bus stop. I would highly recommend this property and worth mentioning that A is a gem of a person.

Nice and dirty.

I was told when I moved in I had to use the bathroom in the basement which is old, has black mold, the shower curtain had to be the original one from the 60s/70s and also has a film on it. Very dirty. I felt the need to bleach everything. The house has a "smell" and honestly, I believe it's the rotten food in the fridge from the other tenant and the mold/water in the basement. The bedroom that is for rent is away from the other bedrooms but it is right next to the door everyone uses so hopefully you don't need to sleep when the other tenant is in and out early and throughout the day. The doors are very loud and the walls are very thin. The owner is very nice but misrepresents the house. The photos show a very clean kitchen, clean bathroom and empty living room. The other tenant is also very nice, but has his things all over and does not compromise any space for you. Dirty dishes/towels in the kitchen, had to wipe down the appliances and counters it would be cute if it was clean.
