Do not stay

This rental and leaser did not meet expectations. The unit was not properly cleaned upon arrival, and several issues during my stay were never adequately resolved. The overall experience was uncomfortable. I would recommend future renters document everything carefully upon move-in.

Not what it is cracked up to be

Bill "Louis" comes across as kind. When I moved in I was told he could secure the side yard for my dog yet she got out several times due to a poorly secured "fence" consisting of plywood, leftover fencing and shipping palates. The "laundry room" is in their home which is not even completed with wires sticking out. Furthermore there is a piece of plywood that is bowed down (I have pictures of this) that you must walk over in order to get to the laundry room in the owners home. There are holes and nails everywhere along the front porch. The porch is also leaning forward. The heat comes from a Pellet stove which stopped working during my stay and is the most inefficient way to heat a home. It does get chilly there at night. The drive to Albuquerque is at times 30-45 min with accidents, construction and a main highway for semis getting to the city. There is a gates main entrance that doesn't open 25-50% of the time.
