This large 1 bedroom plus den a 2nd floor unit in a 4 unit apartment building. Once inside you will find the living room, then into the bedroom with a queen size bed, and small den are. The property has a large lot and plenty of green space to rela...
This is a brick 4 plex unit and was built as a 4 unit in the 1800s. Lots of character. Each of the 4 units are spacious providing over 1000+ square feet per unit. Quirks about this building-all units have window ac in the summer to cool. In the winter, the building has an energy efficient boiler with 3-4 radiators per unit that provide heat. The thermostat for the boiler/heat is housed in unit A and controlled by our maintenance...
Desirable downtown neighborhood-Haynie's corner-walkable to shops and local restaurants
Good temporary stay
This place was nice, comfortable, and convenient for the time I lived here (3.5 months). The place gets the job done and works well for a short time. It was nice to have an extra bed when my mom came into town. A few notes: The layout isunique, the kitchen is skinny, the bathroom gets steamy when showering since there is no fan, and parking gets crowded quickly (but theres usually always a spot). Be sure to dust and clean often, especially the front area with big windows. Since it is a renovated old house, spiders find their way in easily.
Cozy and walking distance
Was very conformable for me and my pup. Quite neighbors and host was very responsive. Enjoyed to location close to many things to do around Evansville along with walking distance to restaurants and few watering holes. I would definitely make this my 1st choice to come back.
Lovely Apartment - Close to Hospitals & Historic District
After driving down a cobblestone street & looking up at the 19th century apartment building, I was sold! This apartment is not your typical "cookie-cutter" apartment, which I loved! It's charming, spacious, well-kept, has plenty of storage space & lots of personality. The bed & the couch were so incredibly comfortable, that I'll compare every other bed & couch to them! The neighbors are friendly, helpful, & quiet, as is the neighborhood. I travel with my dog & was thrilled to learn we had access to the adjacent, fenced-in lot. It's accessible from the backyard, just steps away from the back door (apt owners own lot - it was vacant at the time). I moved here after leaving/escaping an over-priced apartment with a paper-thin ceiling & a JERK "host". The owner I first spoke to about this apartment was a breath of fresh air. They were honest, considerate, & kind.
Highly Recommended
Nice comfortable apartment right by the downtown area. Owners are very kind and accommodating, easy to communicate with. Few minutes away from Deaconess Hospital and St Vincent and some major rehabs and nursing homes. Spacious and pretty equipped with basic necessities for everyday. The house is old but well maintained. TV has netflix which was nice. Thanks T!
