I had the pleasure of staying here for a little over four months. This was my first travel contract. Judy and John were excellent landlords. This property has all the basics you need. It by far has the best view of the Sacramento mountains of most rental properties in the area. It is extremely close to Christus Health (AKA Gerald Champion) and you could walk there every day if you wanted (getting there may be tough - it is uphill if you walk). PROS: Great view. Great location. It has all the basics CONS: There is a slight increase in rent if a second person is on the lease (some would consider this a con, others won't). The water may be hard for those who have never dealt with hard water. Since it is a big lot, with little structures near it, it does tend to get dusty with the wind in Alamogordo. Overall, this is a great place to stay, If I have another contract in this area I will definitely stay here again.

Cozy Casita

I am a first-time travel nurse from Georgia. I had a few reservations around choosing a home based on pictures alone, but after speaking to J(landlord), she help reassure me that I was making the right decision. J paid special attention to all the details and prepared all the amenities to make a rental feel like home. During my stay, I had a minor issue with a leak in the bathroom when it rained. This issue was addressed immediately and from there on, when it rained J would contact me to insure the leak was properly repaired. I really appreciate that J was easily accessible. Although, I was hundreds of miles away from home, J did all she can to make this casita my home,. It twas warm and cozy and basically my home away from home. Hence, I would highly recommend booking this property to any first time or experience traveler.

Full House Rental

Great place to stay in Alamogordo. Five minute drive to Gerald champion Regional Hospital. Landlords on site, friendly and accommodating. Comes with everything you need. Recent remodel; full kitchen, two bedrooms, one bath. Garage opener included. J was super helpful, willing to let my dog out if needed last minute. Only con- did not care for policy of $20/day guest fee if someone visits for more than a week. Also rent is listed for single renter only- If traveling as a pair or family, expect higher $$ price per month. Would highly recommend for convenience and comfort. Five min drive to grocery store, restaurants etc. Back yard view of Sacramento Mtns.
