Private Home - Gated Tudor

We had an excellent stay at this rental; the house is comfortable, has all amenities needed, and we felt safe having the gate at the front and the security system in the house. The landlords were quick to respond to any questions we had and were very kind. I'd absolutely recommend staying here!

This house was truly home away from home for nine months last year. Walking in the door after a long day at University Hospital, I felt like I had entered a safe haven. The kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed, the bed was comfortable, and the atmosphere is one of peace. K and the managing team were always quick to respond to any issues with the property. When I left my room for the last time, I got a little teary because this house is just that wonderful. It will always hold a special place in my heart.

This was such as wonderful find in the middle of Indianapolis. I stayed here for about 3 months as a travel nurse and it was very safe. I had no issues with area or with the house. It has everything you could need for a short or long term stay. It's such a cute older house and the updates that were made are lovely. The security system and the front gate were bonuses and added to the security of the home and property, which was nice to have as a solo traveler. K and her team were wonderful and very responsive. Any problems I had, which were few, were handled in a timely manner. I couldn't have asked for a better rental or landlord. I would 100% recommend anyone to stay here. Just to note, they do have their own business they run from behind the property, so cars/work trucks maybe coming in and out to grab things. This never interfered with my stay, I rarely noticed them coming and going, and everyone was kind and polite. Again, you cannot go wrong with this rental!

I loved that after a long 12-hour shift at IU Methodist, this house was a short drive. I could lock myself inside, set the alarm, take a hot shower, make a quick dinner and sleep in a comfy bed. There is a security gate off the busy Michigan Ave operated by a remote. I liked that there is an orange traffic cone marking the driveway so I would not drive past. There is a remote for the garage door, too. The security system is easy to use and motion detectors throughout the house. The washer and dryer are so convenient. I used the bathroom with the black/white tile floor adjacent to the 1st floor bedroom. There was plenty of hot water with powerful water pressure. The kitchen has all the essentials needed, including wine glasses ;) The living room has a comfy couch with a huge flatscreen. I worked days and my roommate I met at orientation worked nights. We hit it off and sharing this spacious home worked out financially for both of us. Owners live within minutes.

As a traveling nurse, my priority is safety and security. I cannot say enough good things about K, her family, and this home. The house is beautiful and I love its unique style and features. I slept in the main upstairs bedroom and spent the majority of my time either up there, at the desk in the study, or on the enclosed porch as Im taking online courses and these were great spots to be comfy and get my schoolwork done. The trees are so beautiful and I loved that I would see squirrels and even deer on occasion. The house is spacious and clean and there is plenty of space to park in the garage. The security gate upon entry and security system in the home gave me peace of mind since Im traveling alone. K and her family are so kind and I really appreciated the great communication from all of them. Behind the house is an area they utilize for family business so on occasion there would be a vehicle come and go but nothing bothersome at all. If anyone were to access that area after dark I would have a message from them first as a heads up so to not be alarmed and I really appreciated that. Being from out of state I was unfamiliar with the surrounding areas so K gave me pointers on where to go for my shopping needs to groceries, etc. I worked at a local hospital and the location of the home is very convenient as everywhere I went from work to Target was about 15 min away. Whether youre traveling as a family or single, I highly recommend this home.
