Apartment in Asheville, North Carolina
Landlord Tenure: 4 years, 1 month
Welcome to this beautiful victorian triplex built in 2006. It is conveniently located in the Montford historic district. The location is truly the best of both worlds - adjacent to the downtown central business district yet it feels like a calm suburban oasis with extensive surrounding gardens and lawn. This 1100 square foot apartment is one of just 3 in the building . Each floor is one separate apartment making each unit extrem...
Comfortable, Great Location, Responsive Landlord
We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The apartment is very comfortable and well furnished. If there was an issue, the landlord was very responsive (e.g., replacing a broken appliance). Unlike many places we have rented, the access to the yard and porch are standout features. The neighborhood is fantastic for walking. It's very close to downtown and greenspaces. Being able to walk to coffee shops, restaurants, woods, parks, and grocery stores is a big quality of life factor for us. It is also located near a highway; you can access the surrounding region quickly. The apartment is in the heart of a small city, so there is regular traffic. We have felt safe and haven't had any concerns. We would definitely rent again if we have an extended stay in AVL.
wonderful stay!
N is a fantastic host and the space is wonderful. The unit is clean, bright and spacious. Safe and quiet neighborhood in an extremely convenient location. Just a quick walk to downtown Asheville, and there are also three grocery stores just a few blocks away. When I stepped inside I immediately felt at home! Highly recommend.
Beautiful 2BR Apartment in Victorian residential triplex in Asheville's Montford Historic District
N was a great host, and the apartment is awesome with everything you need from modern furniture, stainless steel cookware to great books you can read on the gorgeous wrap around deck/porch. The location is perfect, very close to downtown but nestled in the historic and beautiful Montford district. Everything is walking distance, Whole Foods, Trader Joes, Harris Teeter, High Five Coffee, and All Day Darling, not to mention the entire Downtown area. N is very responsive to any questions/issues (he's next door) and gives great recommendations on hikes and all the local gems. No need to look any further than N's place to enjoy all that Asheville and the Blue Ridge Mountains has to offer. I will be back!!!
Best place to stay in Asheville!
This is the most amazing place to stay in Asheville. The location is fantastic: a two-block walk to downtown Asheville with its restaurants and bars; in the other direction is the Montford Historic District with wonderful walking on tree-lined streets with Victorian mansions and cute bungalows. Finally, it's only 4 blocks to Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Harris Teeter. This is the quietest house I've ever been in (when the doors and windows are closed). The furnishings have been tastefully and thoughtfully designed, with small touches, like laundry baskets in both bedroom closets, that make it very convenient for digital nomads. As a cook, I appreciated that the pots and pans and knives were of very high quality. The mattresses were very comfortable (perhaps they're Tempur-Pedic??) N and J, the landlords, are great people, but not at all intrusive. The one time we needed something fixed (kitchen sink was clogged), N was right on it. If we return to Asheville, this is where we'll stay!
Perfect stay, great host
The property is absolutely spotless, couldnt hope for a better location, the host is very responsive but not intrusive and went above and beyond with our questions and requests. A two block stroll puts you in downtown Asheville, and the neighborhood is beautiful, walkable, and peaceful. We enjoyed the wraparound front porch, the large and well equipped kitchen, lots of windows, and when the weather was bad we spent time with the large screen tv. High speed Wi-Fi, comfortable beds, nice dining and living spaces, plenty of closet room, and off-street parking. We hope its available when we come back to Asheville! Thanks to N for a wonderful three month stay.
Amazing!
I cant say enough about this property and N. The location is perfect! Its quite even with it being a few blocks away from the highway. N was always there for any questions. Will definitely be back!
Fantastic stay in the heart of Asheville
N is a fantastic host. Hes kind, made it a breeze to check in, and shared plenty of helpful info about the town that piqued our interests. The apartment is cozy, modern, and equipped with all the amenities you could ask for: excellent WiFi, a beautiful wrap-around porch, a sun-filled living room, kitchen essentials, an off-street parking space, books, comfortable seating, two quiet bedrooms, heated floors, and so much more. N left no stone unturned in making this a great place to stay. The location is super close to downtown and multiple grocery stores. Its right off the highway for easy access to the mountains but you dont hear the noise at all - the neighborhood feels very quaint, safe, and private. Youll have a wonderful time here. We hope to come back sometime soon.
Perfect Location, Responsive Host
I count myself perfectly lucky to have found this place while I was in transition. It provided me with the calm, and peaceful respite that I needed, and I enjoyed taking in the cool breezes on the wraparound porch with my pups napping at my feet, especially after a brisk walk. This place is perfectly situated - just blocks from downtown, and an easy 6 minute walk to my favorite breakfast cafe All Day Darling. It's also a short walk to coffee shops, Whole Foods and Trader Joes. The highway is just a minute or two away, but the proximity is not evident as you stroll through the residential neighborhood, taking in the historical homes with their lovely gardens. The apartment itself is light, comfortable and well appointed with all the necessities and more, including a large screen tv and a really comfy couch! The host was kind and incredibly responsive ensuring that I had access to everything I needed to make my stay a pleasant and comfortable one. I sure will miss this porch!
