Just Perfect!

Margaret is the best!! So accommodating and makes sure you are all set before your stay. The apartment is perfect for what I needed. All the kitchen tools you need to make a good meal. I have stayed a couple times now and would go back again in a heartbeat. The neighbors are polite and always say hi. The neighborhood is safe and super cute. Laundry in the building but if busy like me, a fluff and fold is right down the block. Supermarkets galore from Stop & Shop to Key Foods. Walkable to the big Newport mall and Path train in about 10min? Hamilton park also has farmer's markets and is just a nice place to take a walk. Could ask for anything more.

Cozy Apartment in a Perfect Location

Amazing apartment!! I stayed for almost 4 months and had no complaints. It's very spacious and has everything you need. The decorations she has make it very cosy and homey too! The living room area has great seating and a TV. The wifi is great. The kitchen has a full fridge, toaster, microwave, and stove/oven. The bathroom is clean and has no issues. The queen size bed is very comfortable. There's a lot of room for storage. The heating and air conditioning both worked great. There's also a nice outdoor area and shared washer/dryer in the building. The location is excellent and in a very safe/friendly area. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and a grocery store a few blocks away. Hamilton park is only two blocks away and it is one of the nicest parks in the area. The PATH to the city is close and there's plenty of citibike racks around. Margaret is also lovely. She's extremely understanding, kind, and helpful. Again, I have no complaints. I really enjoyed my stay here and highly recommend this place!

cozy apartment

I stayed at this apartment with my husband and two dogs for two months and I had a great experience would stay again! Pros: -Lots of grass nearby to take your dogs out. -7 minute walk to Hamilton park which has a playground, small dog park and is beautiful! -Safe location, neighborhood with a lot of young families and surprisingly quiet at night. -Shared washer/dryer in the basement. - 20minute walk to JCMC -15 minute walk to downtown Jersey city/Path train. -Apartment has a small backyard - Host is very responsive. Cons: -Apartment has a lot of the owners belongings. Almost all cabinets and drawers are cluttered. I had a hard time making room for our own belongings. - A parking permit is required to park on the street. Application is through the city and ranges $200-$500. Attempting to get one was a headache. My application was denied several times. M was very helpful and provided us with visitor parking passes which got us through our time there.

wonderful home and owner

My wife and I have lived in jersey city for a while but not the Hamilton park area. This was the perfect place to explore it. The place has everything you need and is the perfect size. Margaret is a very knowledgeable and helpful person. If we ever need to stay in the area again this will be the first place we check.

Wonderful Stay & Great Location

My husband and I could not have asked for more with this wonderful apartment centrally located to everything you could need. We just needed a place for a month for my husband's job. Margaret, the host, was super communicative and friendly. Between the location, the host, and the great apartment itself...What more could you ask for? Highly recommend!!!

Cozy and Centrally located apartment

This apartment exceeded expectations. Its central location and available street parking made getting around a breeze. The proximity to Hamilton Park and surrounding restaurants cant be beat. Surprisingly quiet for its city location. The shared back patio was a nice bonus. Margaret, the host, was incredibly responsive and accommodating. The other residents were friendly, adding to my positive experience. A comfortable and cozy choice for a stay in Jersey City.

Lovely cozy apartment!

Great location!! Loved staying in this cozy apartment, located near lots of restaurants, cafes, bakeries, and so much more! M was a great host and very accommodating. Parking was almost never an issue just be mindful of street cleaning but other than that, there was always a space available. Laundry in unit was great as well! Super convenient and accessible. Would definitely stay here again.

Gem in the city

This is a rare find in the JC area. The unit was a great size and the building provided in complex laundry and courtyard in the back. All the tenants were super friendly as well. For us as well parking was never an issue. The path station is a small walk away and Hamilton park is also nearby with a small and large dog park that we used regularly. M was very accommodating with us even upgrading the router as my husband works from home so a more reliable connection was a must. Would recommend this unit to anyone.

Wonderful experience

This unit was a great find in Jersey City. Within walking distance of the Grove St. PATH station, in complex laundry, nice setup. M was very easy to communicate and work with. Quick responses anytime anything came up and a very nice person. My partner and I both commuted to the city for work and once we were on the PATH trains we could be in the city in 10-15 minutes. I'd recommend this to anyone who is looking for a more sizeable unit than something they would find for the same price in NYC, but still have great NYC access.
