Great Summer Stay
Gary and Kathleen are excellent hosts. Our starter pack was complete when we moved into the home. We stayed June through August. With beautiful views and a cooling breeze from the water all summer. The home is a short distance from Saltwater State Park and Poverty Bay Marina and Beach. It is private and quiet and safe. We would definitely recommend this home as a comfortable safe space. Thanks again Gary and Kathleen. It was wonderful to meet you.

Great summer memories!
We moved into this home as a temporary stop after we sold our home and were shopping for our new one. We thought we would only stay for a couple months, but ended up staying for 6. The neighborhood is great! Friendly neighbors, no issues, no crime, plenty of parking, etc. The home was perfect sized for a small family. The yard was suitable for our spaniels and also had some gorgeous flowers / plants that bloomed throughout our stay. The landlords, G & K, were spectacular hosts! They were friendly, funny and made us feel welcomed. We'll always cherish and reminisce about our summer in Des Moines.

Wonderful location!
I honestly could not recommend this property enough! We had an amazing stay here. The home is comfortable and we were able to host guests from out of town with no issue. The neighborhood is lovely and my partner and I both felt safe at the location, which is important since we work opposite shifts. The backyard of this home is a true stunner, and we enjoyed a lot of quality time outside relaxing and taking in the views. The hosts of this home really stand out from all the others. G and K are so welcoming, and really go above and beyond to help you have a fun and comfortable stay. We would absolutely choose this location again!

You wont find a better home
If you have the opportunity to stay here, do it. This place is the perfect home away from home and has everything you would ever need. The neighborhood is wonderful and really safe. The neighbors are very friendly and make you feel like youre at home. G and K were extremely responsive for any questions that came up and have so many suggestions on places to see while youre in the area. It has been our favorite home weve stayed in by far and we would come back here at any chance we got.
