Peaceful Recharge

I rented this room for a month and a half while geo-baching. The location is very private while being surprisingly close to all the necessities in Pantops. If driving through an active, picturesque pasture on your way home from work puts you in a good frame of mind, this place is it for you. The owner Linda is incredibly sweet, and her little daschund is always looking for a new friend. Get great sleep with silence broken only by birds and the early evening coyote singing the song of its people.

Full of wildlife, beauty and serenity

I thoroughly enjoyed my time here. It's set on a beautiful farm with very happy animals wild and domesticated alike. The windows on 3 sides and a private balcony allow for ample sunsets and sunrises. Deer can be spotted regularly. It's a peaceful retreat only minutes from town. I was nervous about the weather and my ability to drive in the snow but the owner was very kind and made sure my stay was pleasant. I highly recommend this accomodation.

Excellent Stay!

This was the perfect place to stay after a long shift in the hospital. Quiet and tucked away off the beaten path, L is a caring hostess who both gives you what you need to be comfortable and space to enjoy your privacy. The room is fully private with a private entrance and bathroom, and there is plenty of space to put your groceries and cook a meal if you so choose. Plenty of places to sit outside and not too far from anything. Enjoy your stay!

peaceful bliss

I have been at this property since June 13 2022..I have had a lovely experience..the owner L is a joy to be around..the surroundings of the property are amazing..I find this property peaceful..clean and very accommodatingI have had no problems and have enjoyed my stay

A cute room just outside the city

The property is on a beautiful farm with free roaming animals (which always brightened my day). Upon entering the gravel driveway you get this beautiful view of the mountains, the property is a little ways up the road. The room was well suited for my needs, you have a great view of the mountains and you have your own full bathroom. The owner provided toilet paper and towels which was great. You have access to the shared full kitchen and washing machine/dryer, your own fridge and pantry area. It's an easy ~15 min drive to UVA making it a great location just outside the city.

Renter Beware

There are no locks on the doors, so owner feels the need to enter your room each day without cause. Many eccentric rules regarding germs and nurses bringing them home from the hospital. Owner insists that you use her linens and bedding, then threatens that you will need to reimburse her for any stains or wear that results. Owner seems nice at first, however not a positive experience for Travelers!
