Beautiful home in fantastic neighborhood

My partner and I, along with our two dogs, had a wonderful five-month stay in this home during the summer. The home is beautifully decorated, creating a cozy and inviting atmosphere that feels like a home away from home. It comes equipped with move-in-ready amenities, which is a huge plus. The basement is also well-stocked with ample storage, which is a nice bonus. The neighborhood is very walkable, with a grocery store and restaurants within a two-minute to a fifteen-minute walk. However, I did encounter a minor issue with the shower faucet. It was a bit challenging to control the temperature, ranging from cold to hot at times. With a bit of practice, it became manageable. The owner of this property is incredibly responsive, accommodating, and always willing to help in any way possible. We had a great experience and would definitely stay again.

I absolutely loved my time renting this home! Britt and Alan were truly amazing landlords so kind, responsive, and always just a quick text away if I ever needed anything. The home itself was beautiful and one-of-a-kind, full of historic charm and unique characteristics that made it really special. I loved drinking my coffee on the big porch. The neighborhood felt safe and welcoming, and it was such a treat being just a short walk to one of my favorite spots to eat and grab a drink, Hanks. It was also a short walk to Frisco Freeze, and an 8 minute drive to St. Joseph medical center. This house quickly felt like home, and I'm so grateful for the experience! Highly recommend!

Cozy, Comforting, Charming

This home has so much character and charm. I truly loved my stay. It was sad to leave such a homey heart felt home. The location is perfect close to Tacoma General just 8mins down the road from St.Josephs medical and on the same block as the best bar in town, Hanks!!! Theres Parks within walking distance, so close to the water front and my favorite coffee shops, and the neighbor is friendly and safe, so much character too in this part of Tacoma. This home was my home away from home for quite some time and I have nothing but great things to say about it! Everyone that visited also loved the home. If youre looking to stay in Tacoma this is the spot you wanna be! I would happily happily rent again, and to whoever swoops this spot next, well congrats and enjoy!

Home away from home

I cannot begin to explain how wonderful this location is, but how incredibly responsive and accommodating B and A were. They made this move extremely easy. The spot is so cozy and modern, felt right at home. Will definitely miss this place and will recommend to anyone coming to Tacoma and the nearby cities.

Amazing stay!

I lived here for about five months as a travel nurse and absolutely loved it! It is a great location with highways and shops close by for an easy commute. The landlords were always quick to fix any requests I had and gave me multiple gifts throughout my stay to make the place feel like home during the holidays. They also assisted me with shipping my car since the company came after I was already moved out. The only issue I had with the place was during the winter, the wind can make the heat go out since the house is older, BUT the landlords always responded quickly to fix it! Very kind people and such a cute spot! Highly recommend.

5-Star Stay in Cozy Tacoma Neighborhood

Would give this stay more stars if I could! I stayed here for 4 months in 2024 while on a contract in Covington. The location cannot be beat - close enough to the highway, but nestled in a beautiful and cozy neighborhood. I worked nightshifts and never had trouble sleeping, and enjoyed leisurely walks admiring the historic homes. The unit is furnished with beautiful detail and has great natural light. It had pretty much everything I could need. Moreover, the landlords were extremely kind, and courteous, and immediately responded to even minor issues and suggestions. If I take another contract in the PNW, I will 100% be trying to rent here again!

great apartment for traveling nurses

My wife and I were extremely pleased with our furnished stay during my wife's travel assignment at Tacoma General Hospital. We felt safe and that all amenities of the neighbourhood were extremely close. My wife extended her work assignment 3 times because we really fell in love with the area and felt that the owners were extremely accommodating to our needs. We were blessed to have such great hosts as A and B. If we didn't have to relocate we would continue our stay. All fixtures, appliances, bedding were of high quality. If you are a travel nurse looking for an assignment in Tacoma, WA or nearby towns, this is truly an amazing stay to come home to after a long shift. If we could give 10 STARs. we would!!

Amazing stay with great property owners

Been traveling for over two years now and this spot was one of my favorites to stay in. Top unit is perfect for a solo or couple travelers. Great location with tons of great restaurants around the corner. Rainier, Olympic and Cascades within a day trip drive. The space is incredibly cozy with tons of windows for natural light and the bedroom with black out shades for quality sleep. Last and certainly not least, the owners are amazing. B and A were incredibly responsive. Any issues with the unit would be addressed before I would even make it home from work that evening. Could not recommend this unit more highly and will definitely look to stay again when I return for an eventual summer stent in the PNW.

Incredible!

B and A are incredible landlords! They are super accommodating and easily reached. My boyfriend and I rented their place for the summer and extended our stay because it is in the perfect location and super comfortable. Highly Recommend!

Perfect foe Travelers!

This place was awesome! Our favorite part was the neighborhood and the location to TGH where my husband and I worked. The area is adorable and has SOO many plants everywhere. It is only a mile to get to the Puget Sound, where there is a nice walking/running/biking path. We walked to work every shift and it only took us 7 minutes! The place was stocked with plenty of linens, appliances, and cookware. Plenty of storage in the basement of the house. The space was clean, cute, and modern. It was slightly small for 2 people, but thats city living! Some things to note, only 1 big window in the main area opens, as well as the bathroom window. It got pretty hot during the summer, but, the landlords provided an air unit without us even asking! We didnt realize there is not a bedroom door, however, the landlords put an accordion style door to accommodate. They were very responsive and willing to work with us! Overall we LOVED the space and definitely recommend to anyone! Thank you landlords!

Amazing Home

The place is amazing and beautiful. It is a historic home so there is a lot of charm in it, but with a modern touch. Everything is as advertised on the page. The house is very spacious and comfortable to live in. You have most everything you need in the kitchen to cook. TV in the living room and the master bedroom upstairs. It is also very close to Multicare Tacoma General Hospital and my commute to work was easily a 7 minute walk to the hospital which was a huge plus since I didn't like to leave my car in the parking garage by the hospital. What I really appreciate is how responsive and attentive the landlords are. They have been very accommodating and communication is very easy with them. The place is a bit on the pricier side, but well worth it for how close to the hospital it is as well as how responsive the landlords are. Overall a great place to stay if you're a travel nurse and have a contract in or close to Tacoma.
