The perfect home away from home!

I stayed in this perfect backyard studio for 3 months and would have stayed longer had I known ahead of time that I wanted to be in Seattle for the rest of the summer. K and I were the perfect landlords. They made me and my pup feel right at home. This was my first travel nurse assignment out of my home state and I was rather nervous, but staying in their backyard helped make the transition a lot more comfortable. They always offered a helping hand in any way and were very easy to communicate with/quick to respond. I worked in Everett and the commute was roughly 25 mins both ways and avoided traffic, thankfully. The location was beautiful with a little park down the road full of trees and small trails. My pup and I loved walking the neighborhood :-) I would move back in in a heart beat! 10/10 recommend.

Top notch landlords, beautiful space in super safe neighborhood

We signed a lease with a 3-month minimum commitment and ended up staying almost a yearwhich speaks for itself. I and K invited us to Thanksgiving dinner with their family when they learned we wouldnt make the trip back east to spend the holiday with our families. These are the kind of people you look forward to communicating and sharing a laundry room with! The space itself is perfectly accommodating; our family includes two adults, a large dog and a cat and we called it home for 10+ months! We were able to drive to different parks every day of the week with so many a short drive away. You can easily reach any store within 10-20 minutesSafeway, Whole Foods, REI and the mall, Target, etc. For a small space, the cabinets and drawers bolster lots of storage, plus, there is space under the bed if needed. We used an affordable storage unit at Extra Space since we were coming from a 1,700+ sq. ft. house, which was a super convenient drive and under 10 minutes away. The photos represent the listing accurately! Whats not pictured is the warmth and hospitality of the host family and neighbors. They showed up for us when our dog got loose and when I was in the hospital much longer than expected having our first baby (yep, we even added him to the mix for a handful of weeks before moving on!).
