Good location, felt safe
I stayed here while working at one of the nearby hospitals. I felt safe in the gated community. The location was very convenient and close to grocery stores, restaurants, shopping, etc. The apartment was well taken care of. Sometimes it smelled of smoke because the neighbor smokes outside, but the landlord has an air purifier and I brought my own candle. The landlord was prompt at answering my questions and very easy to work with. It was a comfortable place to stay for 4 weeks.
Great place!
This is a great property to stay at if you are visiting Baton Rouge or traveling for work. The owner is very hospitable and easy to communicate with. Will definitely be staying here again!
great for travelers
Great for travelers. Clean and cozy! Gated! Alarm! Neighbors were very friendly. I had no issues at all and felt right at home. I would definitely recommend this condo!
Book it.
Go ahead and book this property. It's super cozy and easy to get settled into. It's in a gated community. Additional safety measures include a camera outside, keyed entry with camera, and a alarm/security system inside. There's black out curtains in the living room & bedroom. B was extremely helpful and responsive if I needed anything, and he'd check-in periodically. Another plus is you're within 10-15 minutes of any major store/chain. I stayed 3 months, and was sad to go because I know it's hard to beat this value and level of comfort you want as a traveler. This place is truly a gem. The only cons I can think of are it's right off the highway. So you do hear traffic, but I'm a fairly light sleeper, and it never really disturbed me. And parking was a minor issue from time to time (prior to the gates closing/getting fixed). There are "reserved" spots directly in front of the condo. If those are taken, I just parked on the side of the building, or directly behind. Not a big deal :)
