Creepy house, but responsive landlord

Stayed here this summer for a few months. There are creepy stairs behind two doors. One to the attic, one to the basement, and the one to the attic is right next to the main bedroom room, so you have to pass it whenever you're going in the room. The main bedroom has the only tv upstairs. The doors have holes for locks that they literally just shoved crumpled up paper towels in the holes instead of fixing them. The bathroom tub/shower looks like it hasn't been touched since 1913. The whole vibe is just off in the house and the front room and upstairs bathroom have a smell to them that doesn't go away. There are so many flies and bugs in the house that you could kill 5 in a day and there are still more to go. The property manager was very responsive and understood my concerns and tried to make my stay as comfortable as possible, but that house creeped me out to the point where I couldn't sleep without the light on. The front door also stuck a lot.

Charming Historic Home in Downtown Evansville

My family (of 5) stayed at this location for June. I was able to walk to work on Main Street daily and we biked to the riverfront and Mickey's Kingdom for playground time. The rental was charming, and renovated well with attention to detail - it smelled wonderful, with great details and furnishings. The owners were quick to respond. We were shocked by how large and beautiful the property was and how convenient it was to everything downtown. Highly recommend!

Duplex

Great location with tons of character. Very responsive and friendly owners. The living area, bathroom and kitchen are spacious and tastefully remodeled.

Such a large and affordable duplex! Very quiet and nice area! T was an amazing host! Showed me around the property when I checked in. Was very quick to respond to any questions! Was great at letting me know anything in advance! It was a very welcoming vibe! She's been one of the best hosts I've encountered so far while traveling! I would definitely highly recommend and would use her again in the future if I needed to!

This is a wonderful historic home. Many authentic details have been preserved in it, which gives it a special charm. The house is equipped with everything necessary for a comfortable stay. Comfortable beds and a well-equipped kitchen. We did not have any problems during the rental.

Evansville Duplex

My family and I stayed at this property during my husbands contract. The house itself was great. A beautiful old Victorian home with all the bedrooms on the upstairs level. Plenty of room and close to downtown and all your amenities. The landlords were super nice and quick to respond.
