my dog and I were very comfortable
I spent 6 weeks last spring at Layne's house. It was a lovely experience. The back yard is bordered by a canal and watching the birds every morning was fantastic. The house is very nicely decorated. Layne was very responsive about addressing an issue left over from the previous tenant and got it solved right away. My dog was very happy with the dog door to the garden.

Perfect Place for Extended Stay
The home is lovely, the kitchen is well stocked, and the location could not have been better for me since I loved hiking in China Camp State Park. I'll be coming back for sure.

Great place!
Great place! One of the coziest ones I've stayed at since I started traveling. Something that stands out is the bidet: feels like you're in Europe or something. Anyways, Layne is super accommodating and responsive to any questions or needs. Would stay here again if I was ever in the area.

It was such a lovely place that we stayed here again for 6 months. Spacious, peaceful, and with great views!

Amazing little house on the water!
My partner and I stayed at Ls lovely property for a few months at the beginning of this year (2023). It is located in the quiet and charming neighborhood of Santa Venetia. We loved going for daily walks on Santa Margarita Island which is visible from Ls backyard and accessible just a few minutes down the street on foot. We also loved hiking in the famous China Camp state park which is just a 5-10 min drive away. Ls house is really well decorated, feels modern and spacious in the way its laid out and has a very private and sizable back yard. The kitchen is newly remodeled and we made good use of it. We would also frequently attend the Marin Farmers Market held at the Civic Center just a few minutes drive from the house. L herself is extremely kind, flexible and a great communicator. I would absolutely stay at this property again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a place to stay in the San Rafael area!
