Sweet and cousy stay!

This was an amazing, sweet and comfortable stay.The spaces were clean and tidy. Spacious living room/kitchen with nice, early morning light. At the bedroom, I enjoyed sleeping in, as the bed was impressively pleasant to surrender my weight on it. The host, Julia was welcoming, kind, personable and gave me great advice about where to go/hike/climb in this beautiful region of Colorado. 100% recommended!

Highly Recommended

This was an absolutely delightful place to stay for my first visit to Montrose. The unit is bright and clean, in a very peaceful neighborhood on a cul-de-sac with easy access to the main routes through town. It is very comfortable and conveniently arranged. All of the necessities were thoughtfully provided, and there was the bonus of beautiful outdoor space to enjoy. The owner was welcoming and informative, while also being most considerate of my privacy. I give this rental my highest recommendation and will gladly stay here again.

I really enjoyed my stay!!

I can unequivocally share, that I had such a positive experience staying 3 nights at this rental, The size was perfect for me. The bed was amazingly comfortable. I had three wonderful nights sleep. The sun pours in the living room in the morning. Sitting outside on the bench at the entrance was pleasurable and the garden is well maintained. The owner is very pleasant. I plan to return and stay at the same place when pass through again in a few weeks.

A closer look

Staying here began great. However, the longer I stayed the more the landlord demanded. I will list pros and cons. Pros Apartment was close to work Quiet neighborhood for the most part Comfortable bed Plenty of hot water Cons Apartment attaches to main house and I could hear everything. Conversations, drills, everything. Heat was not working. She did try and supply a radiator heater. Unfortunately I have a history of fire with these and I would not have used it. Kitchen area was quite small and she was very concerned about the white counters being messed up. So I tried not to use it much and bought foil plates to go on top so I would not mess them up. She would not allow my husband of 25 years to join me. I thought this was odd. She said he could only visit for a week at a time. In the photos. There is a covered deck and a hot tub. I assumed it was part of the rental. It is not. It is hers. She did say I could use the hot tub but seemed hesitant. I used it twice. Not a huge issue. But do not advertise things that are not really included. I am a smoker. She was aware. I was very clean and safe. She stated she didnt mind because I was a responsible smoker. However she continuously accused me of smoking in the home. Which I never did. She accused me of vaping in the home. Which I never did. I just agreed to disagree about the vaping u til she accused me of smoking in the home. The lease did not state no smoking. However I again did not smoke in the home. I have notice 3weeks that I had to move so my husband could join me. I requested I refund for the last 6days of the month. She then came to me a week before I was moving and told me I would owe November rent as she didnt know I meant I was leaving early. I did only wrote the 23rd. However I assumed she knew I meant October since I requested a refund for the last 6 days. She threatened civil matters against me if I did not pay November. She became very nasty. I asked her to leave and informed her I would move that day. And I did. I cleaned the entire space very well before leaving and I have pictures. She added rules through out my stay. She made comments that made me feel she was in my home when I was out. Once accused me of putting ashes in her antique garbage can(which was the kitchen garbage) at first I didnt understand why she thought this. Except maybe she saw ashes in the garbage bag when I took the trash out. I would dump the ash tray into the garbage bag. But then I noticed coffee grounds in the bottom of the trash. So I assume at some point she was in the home and this is what she saw and assumed it was ashes. She requested I didnt leave any lights on. I left one tiny indoor light on in the house because I get home after dark and leave after dark. I was not allowed to use my own cleaning supplies or room sprays The WiFi was terrible. I could continue. But all I can say is if you stay here. Be prepared for a lot of rules on a house you pay rent for and a very nosy landlord.

Charming 1 bedroom apartment.

I thoroughly enjoyed my 3 month stay at this rental. The owner is very friendly and welcoming. The apartment is well appointed and comfortable. The yard and garden were beautifully kept up. The neighborhood is very peaceful and centrally located. I especially enjoyed the proximity to the Montrose river park for morning and evening walks and bike rides. I highly recommend this FF rental!

Great Clean, Quiet and Private Place

I had a wonderful experience staying at this rental while I worked on Project at the Hospital in Montrose. The place was clean and quiet. The owner of the property was very nice, and made sure I had everything I needed for great stay. The unit has a private entrance. The kitchenette has everything you need to make small meals. There is plenty of options of places to eat and things to do near by! The Hospital is only 5 minutes away! One of the best short term rentals I have stayed at!!
