Like Being at Home

What was originally supposed to be three months quickly morphed into a year. Our family with littles felt like we were home from day one! The 1920's charms, well appointed furnishings, fabulious location, and loads of space made life easy here. We could not be more appreciative of our host Gail. Gail was particularily easy to work with, welcoming, accomodating, and flexible as our needs evolved. All the neighbors are very friendly as well ... and there's amazing coffee and local shops, watering holes nearby. I can't imagine a better stay for our family.

Excellent villa in Tacoma

We had the pleasure of staying at Gail's beautiful villa, and it was a truly wonderful experience. The house is spacious and welcoming, with plenty of room for our teenagers and a comfortable master bedroom for us. We loved the beautiful colors of the garden that Gail take care every Friday, the original parquet floors, the big windows, the huge living room for our 98" TV and the elegant dining room which was perfect for hosting dinners for up to 15 people. A special touch was the sunroom, which I used as a home office. The grand piano also added a touch of class to the entire home. The location is fantastic, situated in one of the most beautiful neighborhoods in North Tacoma. It's incredibly convenient, located near Met Market and just a two-minute walk from great restaurants and coffee shops. The freeway is also only six minutes away, making travel extremely easy. Thank you, Gail, for sharing your wonderful property with us form one year. High recommended.

North End Craftsman

My husband and I stayed here during our 13 week contract. The house was clean and spacious with many amenities! The neighborhood is safe and there are shops, spas, a yoga studio, and a coffee shop within walking distance. The main street next to the house can be a bit noisy if you arent used to the usual city sounds. However, we slept with a sound machine on and had no problem with it. The landlord is extremely friendly and a wonderful host! The commute to the hospital was an easy drive and took less than 10 minutes. I highly recommend staying here if you find yourself in Tacoma!

Great experience!

The property owner, G and her partner, J went above and beyond to accommodate me and make sure I was comfortable while staying in Tacoma from kind gifts/dinner invitations to suggestions on where to visit in WA while I was there for a clinical rotation. The house was clean and the neighborhood was super safe, even though it is across from a frequently busy local bar. Great central location in Tacoma and typically 30 min from Seattle. I wouldnt hesitate to recommend staying here for traveling professionals or students!
