Previous Tenant

Landlord tries to keep deposit for things that were never listed, seen or show. No inventory list. There were rooms or drawers never opened and tried to claim things were missing. No washer /dryer for 3 months and gave no compensation. Rent always paid on time and landlord claim that she couldn't sent deposit til last day then sent 80%. Said things like one knife was missing out a knife sent but listed 150$ for whole knife set. Listed pots or pans never seen or used. I am a travel nurse. I have my own utensils for cooking. Charged for batteries for a fire alarm for the house, detergent at the house, and other things to try to keep money from deposit. I would not recommended. She said I can leave early from final month but no compensation for the final week of rent. All I wanted was my full deposit back. I stayed at 3-4 other furnished finders with no issues as a travel nurse. Also stayed at turnkey properties and Airbnbs, no issues. Terrible experience. A headache.
