Nightmare Apartment Experience-Missing security Deposit, Predatory Rental Practices, Noise, and Sewer Floods

If I could give this apartment zero stars, I would. Firstly, upon move out, my $3100 deposit was not returned despite leaving the apartment in impeccable condition and performing a walk-through at the end of my lease. I was ghosted for awhile and then have received flat out refusal to return it. Their excuse? Water damage from sewer floods (yes multiple) that I endured while staying in this hovel. It's clear to me now that their integrity absent. Secondly, the noise levels in this place were unbearable. I felt like I was living under a bar. The neighbors/managers living upstairs were extremely loud at odd hours making it impossible to get a decent night's sleep. As if the noise wasn't bad enoughh, the recurring sewer floods were the icing on the cake. Not only was this a disgusting and inconvenient, it was serious health risk. The sewer drain that serves the entire house is located in this unit, overflowing while I was away at work. I was blamed. Save yourself and avoid.
