Nicely Curated Studio Apartment in a GREAT neighborhood - close to Hospitals and Medical Centers

Beautiful stay

I had to stay in Portland, it was supposed to be for a job but I ended up having to recover from an ankle injury. It was very pleasant considering the circumstances because of how cozy this amazing little unit was. Having a full kitchen, and full size fridge in an apartment like this, at this price was indispensable. I was also really pleased with how roomy the bathroom was. It was a great place to recover. And I had an extremely easy time with Michelle, the Landlady. I've had many bad experiences with landlords and this one was just super smooth and easy, very respectful on both sides. Highly recommend.

Great stay

Stayed for several months for a contract. Loved my stay. Equipped with everything you may need. Quiet neighborhood. Lots of restaurants nearby. Tons of street parking.

Great stay!

I decided to use Furnished Finder for my short-term stay in Portland, and was fortunate to find Ms place. The studio was as described, quiet, and centrally located with access to food carts, boutiques, a grocery store, breweries, parks and art galleries. These amenities are in several neighborhoods within 10-20 minute walking distance. The studio was clean and well-appointed, and M welcomed me with Portland chocolates when I arrived. Everything I needed to cook during my stay was there. M was also gracious with her time and responsive, and I enjoyed the privacy as the studio has a separate entrance than the main house. The house has a great old front porch and guests are invited to sit there on summer evenings which I indulged one night over a glass of Willamette Valley wine. The street parking is plentiful; sometimes it is not right in front of the house, but always within 1-2 houses away. Laundry is shared.

lovely experience

Nice cozy lovely private apartment. M did a wonderful job with working with me on my payments and excelled at making sure I was comfortable during my stay. Im from Montana so Im new to this whole thing. She chatted with me when I chose to come up and chat and left me with my own space when I wanted to be alone. She is a wonderful, smart, caring lady! I wish I couldve stayed longer but my contract happened to be moved. It was a welcoming and quiet environment and I recommend reaching out to M if you are considering a trip to Portland, Or for vacay and or a business opportunity.

Lovely basement studio

Had a good experience staying at this basement studio. It has everything that you will need and a nice full equipped kitchen. It was very quiet during my stay and the unit has a nice homey feel to it. Parking is free on the street and I usually had parking right in front but on some nights I did have to park a little further. The landlord was very sweet and welcoming and was available anytime I had questions or needed something. It is located in a very nice and quiet neighborhood and very close to stores, shops and restaurants as well as the freeways. I would recommend this place especially for its great location!

Pleasant experience

Little studio with enjoyable experience with landlord and others living in area. Parking was on the street but usually in front of house with few times two houses down but still close. Relaxing and quiet throughout my stay. I worked many hours but felt safe no matter how late I returned from work. M, made me feel welcome and was always available if I had questions or needs. Some evenings on days off we spent sharing life stories on the front porch having snacks etc. Was very refreshing to have someone who respected my first day off where I did absolutely nothing and other days I enjoyed checking out new places. Only downfall was no ac and some days it was hot, but was given a fan plus I brought my own portable unit which helped. Otherwise, I would give this place a 5 star rating. I would definitely consider staying here again if I entered into another contract in Portland if during the winter time.

Bad experience

I rented from this landlord when I was on crisis response at one of the local hospitals. A few weeks before my assignment was up, she asked me if I would consider staying. I informed her I would not be staying. I would leave when my lease was up. She became angry and her attitude towards me completely changed after that. I have every message and email that she sent, I am very happy to forward those to anybody that would like to see them, if considering renting from this landlord.

Cute Cozy stay

Had a good stay at this cozy basement studio. I felt at home! Everything you needed was available and was very close to nearby shops and food. Parking was available on street most of time. Close to freeways. M was a nice host, very welcoming and responsive if I had questions. Although since its in the basement many spiders were found but not a huge problem. Make sure to separate all trash, compost, recycles etc it was new to me.
