10/10 Spacious Apt in quiet Old Town Triangle street

Stayed in this apartment for the month of August while working remotely and loved it! Amazing location in a quiet neighborhood, with permit and free street parking available. It's a 10-15 minute walk to main restaurants/coffee shops etc on Lincoln Ave, Clark, and N Halstead, and a 10 min walk to the Brown/Purple line. The apartment was clean and had everything I needed for a long stay - plenty of kitchen utensils/pots/pans, etc. for cooking along with other appliances and cleaning supplies, and having a W/D was super convenient. Clean linens and towels were available along with blankets if needed. Each room is very spacious and it was nice having a separate area with a desk to work. Internal walls in the bedroom are a bit thin so heard the neighbors at night, but not a major concern. Would definitely stay again!

Little Gem in Old Town

I had a wonderful Chicago summer staying in this cozy apartment. The neighborhood is quiet and lovely to walk around. There is so much within walking distance to enjoy-- the beach, the park, many restaurants, etc. The unit itself is charmingly decorated and has great amenities (Washer/Dryer in unit & Dishwasher). It was clean, and the perfect size for my small dog and I. Street parking usually was not an issue, almost always was able to find a spot close. The hosts were always a text/phone call away and were very responsive to all of my correspondence-- very pleasant to interact with. I would definitely stay again, and recommend it to anyone looking for a place in Chicago.

Great location, great WiFi, responsive host

I stayed at this apartment for the month of May, 2023. I had several questions prior to booking in terms of location, suitability for remote work, and parking, and the owner/host was generous with her time and provided accurate answers. (For those interested, there is free street parking available within a block or two, and I never had a problem finding a spot. I had no issues doing Zoom calls and remote work, and the location was convenient and felt safe.) It's about a 5-10 minute walk to Wells Street, which has tons of bars, restaurants, and, of course Second City. About 10-15 minutes to the lakefront. Trader Joe's was about a 20-minute walk, and between there and Dom's Kitchen and Market (on Wells, also about a 20-minute walk), I was able to eat out or cook in depending on my schedule. Old Town is such a pretty neighborhood with tree-lined streets. As far as the apartment itself, I appreciated the updated shower and in-unit laundry. I didn't use the heat, but the AC worked fine.

Amazing 10/10, absolutely would stay again!

A was an excellent host! She provided everything that we needed plus more, including plenty of towels, extra blankets, and even laundry detergent for the in-unit washer/dryer (which is SO nice). Kitchen was large and stacked with lots of cooking supplies, which made cooking dinner a breeze. Our cats really loved the view out of the window, especially sitting comfortably on the windowsill and looking out. Heck, we loved the view! A bunch of beautiful brownstones and large trees providing such a calm atmosphere contrasted with the busy nightlife a few blocks away, but it was nice knowing that we were still super close to things. My downtown commute was easy being a 5 minute walk from the train station. There's also great storage in the gangway if you have a bike! And free parking one block over that we were able to find a spot for everyday. Amazon packages were always easy to find. A was always a text or phone call away if we ever needed anything. Would HIGHLY recommend!!
