Bucktown 2BR + Private Deck - Near 606 Trail and Blue Line

Beautiful & felt like home

I stayed in this beautiful Bucktown apartment during my contract in Chicago and I loved it so so much!! First, the convenience of the highway being so close made my commute to work (and truly anywhere) much more seamless than I expected when moving to Chicago. The unit is on the rear side of the 3-unit home with automatic lights on the walk up that helped make me feel safe. The neighborhood is residential and very safe. Almost every time I went for a walk, I saw a security patrol officer driving around (they do this all through Bucktown). Another huge perk was free street parking!!!! I parked directly in front of the house almost every day - never more than half a block away. There are a few bars and restaurants within a 10 minute walk, the 606 trail very close and convenient, and a neighborhood convenience store nearby! L was very professional from the beginning which made me feel safe and secured with my choice to rent from her and with each payment. My one and only less positive on the property is that the walls are very thin and I could hear through to the other units. I expect this when renting an apartment so this did not negatively impact my stay at all. I also met all the tenants to the other units and they were so kind and helpful. Id highly recommend this apartment to a traveler (or anyone)! It was furnished beyond my expectations (Tupperware, any and all kitchen cookware, lots of towels, extra blankets, some cleaning supplies, etc.). I was sad to leave this apartment but I am glad more people will get to experience it! :)
