THE BEST PLACE EVER

Staying with Michael and Sherri during my travel ICU assignment at Kaiser Redwood City was such a blessing. What started as a simple rental became a true home, they became like a second family to me. After long 12 hour shifts, it meant everything to return to a safe, peaceful, gated home located conveniently off the highway near Redwood City and Stanford. Their rent was very affordable for the Bay Area, and the amenities were so thoughtful, clean towels, secure locks, cable, strong WiFi, washer and dryer access, and monthly deep cleans that showed how much they cared about comfort and safety. More than anything, their kindness and support during my assignment and CRNA application journey made me feel cared for and never alone. I am forever grateful for their generosity, warmth, and friendship. Anyone lucky enough to stay with Michael and Sherri will truly feel at home. So book here, you wont regret it.

A Gem

Home away from home. Michael and Sherri opened their home. They made me feel at home and welcomed me as part of their family. The room was fully furnished, clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully set upeverything I needed was already there, which made moving in completely stress-free. The home itself is quiet, well-maintained, cleaners come once a month to deep clean and feels very safe for its in a gated community. The location is incredibly convenient: close to major highways, tech campuses, shopping, and great food options, yet still peaceful and residential. It was perfect for work and downtime. Michael and Sherri were outstanding, responsive, respectful, and genuinely cared about making sure my stay was comfortable. If youre looking for a reliable, comfortable, and well-located room rental in the Bay Area, this place is a gem. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it. Incredible Stay

Michael and Sherri were truly awesome to stay with over the course of 3ish months. The house is spacious, lots of stuff you can use in the kitchen, the rooms are lovely and cleaners come in from time to time which was great too. Its a Jack-and-Jill style bathroom thats also great. It can get a little noisy sometimes outside but not enough to outweigh the pros listed above. Its also 200m away from a lovely walking/biking trail that I made use of *frequently*. Would recommend.

Home sweet home

A 5 star review isn't enough to express my appreciation for the landlords Michael and Sherri. Not only the home is beautiful, spotless with housekeeping once a month, gated community, cameras for extra safety, and a perfect location close to Stanford, downtown Palo Alto, and Redwood City. Michael and Sherri treated me like their own family, when I needed help or guidance in the area or just someone to hang out or talk to. They were there, felt like home. I'm not only going to miss the location, but I will miss them as well. My bedroom was a perfect size, the closet had lots of space (especially purchasing a little to much on my assignment). The bathroom was a shared bathroom but had undersink space and your own drawer. The queen bed is comfortable, and the sharing areas were organized and clean. Meal prepping was easy, they had all the tools and amenities. I hope to pick up another assignment in the future and plan on staying here again. Thank you so much Michael and Sherri!

Exactly what I didnt know I needed

Staying here was exactly what I needed! I did a very short travel assignment and had never physically been to California. Michael and Sherri treated me like family when I was a nervous wreck my first day. The house is very clean and has all basic amenities. I especially loved having access to the kitchen and laundry area. Theres an extra layer of security due to the community being gated. I always felt safe and did not have to worry about vehicular theft or break ins. I would absolutely stay here again if given the opportunity.

Great home and great host

Michael is the BEST host. He was incredibly kind and hospitable, going above and beyond to make me feel welcome and helping me out whenever I needed it. You stay in a nice room in a safe, gated cul-de-sac less than 20 minutes from Stanford and less than 5 minutes from a bus stop. It was quiet, clean, and the host is friendly and treats you like a friend/roommate rather than like a tenant. You can park right in front of the house, and it is also a short walk from a pretty hiking trail. I truly enjoyed my two months here and was sad to leave my temporary home. The bedroom has a digital lock, tons of storage and closet space, and a personal TV. The bathroom is Jack and Jill style and has a bidet installed. The kitchen has literally everything you could possibly need and more. There is a washer/dryer available as well.

Room Rental

This rental offers a convenient location just 20 minutes from both Stanford and downtown Palo Alto, situated in a safe neighborhood. The house itself is beautiful, and while the bathroom is shared with an adjacent room, guests have kitchen access and benefit from monthly cleaning services. M, the owner, is notably pleasant and kind, enhancing the overall experience. I would highly recommend this accommodation with a perfect rating of 10/10 for anyone seeking a comfortable and well-managed stay in the Palo Alto area.

Great place to stay.

M's place is awesome, clean, and quiet. It is located by hiking trails. M is a great host, very approachable, and always calm. Alot of parking and it's located in a gated community. The place is about 4 or 5 miles away from stanford University. Highly recommended.

Room rental

First time using furnished Finder, travel nurse, very lucky to find this place. Goal was to find safe and close to hospital. Reasonable priced. House is in small gated community, park car on drive way. landlord would made sure to rent to female roommate, shared bathroom. No pets, no children, if you work nights have black out blinds. Full use of kitchen and washer & dryer. Back of house with bike and running trail. Walking distance to golf course and small airport.

Im a travel nurse and Im extending here for going on to 4 months. the rent is for a private room and shared bathroom in a house thats located in a gated community. There are two rooms that are rented out and they share a connecting bathroom as seen in the pictures. I was really lucky to get an amazing roommate who is respectful and thoughtful. The host, M-also lives in the house but has his own room and bath. The place is about 20 mins from stanford hospital. Safe and gated housing. Very clean house with monthly cleaning service including the rooms. Relatively quiet neighborhood. Full access of the house. The rooms have great closet storage space. Personal TV in the rooms. Bathroom has a new bidet installed. Kitchen has all equipments you can need and is very neat. There is laundry and dryer available. There is a dog but he is kenneled and stays in the backyard.
