Don't do it!
It's a pretty nice place however the owner K, or whatever other alias she goes by, is an absolute t*** and a liar.
Before even moving in, the day after agreeing to move in for 30 days on a month to month basis, she broke her commitment just like someone with no honor or ethics would, as apparently someone wanted to move in long term before my 30 days would be up, and forced me to commit long term which is not at all what this site is for, or stay only 20 days. Being that I had stopped looking at other places since I had already made a verbal commitment to her that I actually honor, I decided to move in for the 20 days.
Big mistake. While everything was basically fine while living there, this woman is in the process of trying to keep my security deposit with absolute lies. What she is doing is illegal and I will be taking her to small claims court. So if you don't like having to take former landlords to court after you move out to get your security deposit back, don't move here
This tenant broke the house rule of NO SMOKING. I change the air filters between tenants because of viruses and his was BLACK with soot. The unit was not left clean as it was found. I don't regard toilet bowl cleaner as doing the whole toilet, water splashed on the shower walls as clean, and the floors were filthy including the sticky mess going up the carpet on the stairs, and the bathroom floor that was less clean than a truck stop. I had to rent an ozone machine, have the stair treads cleaned, and the next tenant could not move in till the next Friday because of all this. I kept $150 of his deposit which did not cover the entire cleaning of the apartment nor the loss of a week of rent. I'm sorry that Willy Wesley has his own issues to deal with and glad they are no longer mine. I always look forward to returning full deposits because that means the apartment was left as it was found and I have less to do to make it ready for the next person.
