Neighborhood overview
It is a historic residential neighborhood on Savannah's eastside, about 3-5 minutes from downtown. Developed in 1917 on an 80-acre family farm belonging to the Gordon family - built on land that originally served as the family farm of William Washington Gordon II and Eleanor "Nelly" Kinzie Gordon, parents of Girl Scouts founder Juliette Gordon Low. It's often called Savannah's oldest "bedroom community."

Gardenia Cottage
Absolutely loved our time at Gardenia Cottage! I travel with a small dog and the large, fenced in back yard is a huge plus. There are plenty of streets and walking areas to explore within a very friendly community. Host was very easy to communicate with and always responsive. The house has everything you might need for a comfortable and safe 13 week stay. Would highly recommend!

Great place
This house is fantastic. Its located close to downtown and also the islands. Very clean with updated everything and tastefully decorated. Telaxing in The fenced in back yard with huge live oaks is a beautiful way to end the day. Highly recommend with outstanding owners. Very easy to deal with.
