Peaceful Oasis
Staying at Trudi's and Paul's place made my stay in Albuquerque one of my favorite assignments. It was clean, quiet , peaceful, modern and everything you could ask for a place to return to after a hectic shift at the hospital. They were attentive to details and your every need. Even took me on a couple of excursions and had me to dinner. Oh and to top it all off they clean your place every other week. Lovely outside area to relax and have either coffee or wine. If I ever travel back to Albuquerque I'll definitely stay here again .
Charming place in friendly downtown neighborhood
Many of my NETFLIX studio colleagues suggested that I look in the Nob Hill area, but I am so happy that I chose Trudi and Pauls place in downtown instead. After long days on set, I welcomed the quiet of their neighborhood and being able to cocoon in the luxurious apartment with my little pup. The apartment feels so much bigger than the size stated in the listing. Plus, the backyard was such a pleasant place to relax on a day off and absorb the weekend sunshine or sip a glass of wine. I felt safe walking my dog around the neighborhood and even walking to the many places Trudi and Paul recommended. I was surprised to be surrounded by so many things that you find in medium-sized cities and yet feel like I was in a friendly, small-town neighborhood community. If my next assignment brings me back to Albuquerque, Ill be staying here again!
A Great Place in a Great Location
This property is exactly as described! In addition it is quiet, clean, and oh so comfortable. It is surprising in that the house itself is a wonderful 1906 bungalow, but when you enter the guesthouse it's hard to believe your not in a modern upscale boutique hotel suite. If you're staying longer it has everything you need: workspace with a strong wireless connection (I held a Zoom work meeting that was seamless and glitch free), new modern kitchen appliances, comfortable furniture for lounging or watching movies on a large Roku-equipped TV, and the hosts generously supply access to the laundry room and supply you with all you need to do a load or two of clothes without any additional charge. It is an ideal location from which to explore downtown and Old Town Albuquerque, which are both easily within walking distance from the guesthouse. Getting to know this charming part of town was an unexpected, and most welcome, surprise. Paul and Trudy are lovely, and are the most wonderful hosts!
Great Short Term stay
We really have enjoyed our stay there. P and T are kind and gracious hosts. They were always accessible and willing to help with anything. The place is comfortable, stylishly renovated and incredibly clean. It comes equipped with everything you would need. The neighborhood is in a quiet enclave near downtown Albuquerque, which was convenient to restaurants and shopping. Our stay there allowed us to become familiar with the city during a move from out of state while we searched for a house to purchase. I highly recommend and would stay again if the need arose.
You want to stay here!
If you stay here youll never want to leave, but its worth the risk! T and P are the most wonderful humans who truly just want you to have an amazing stay. Its attached to their house so I was a little worried about noise as Im Night Shift. They were so thoughtful of my sleep and I never heard noise from their side of the house. The place is beautiful in photos but even more so in real life. They stock it with literally any kitchen appliance you could need and comfy towels & sheets on an even comfier bed. Its super close to the hospitals, I was a 5 min drive from UNMH and the others were pretty much just as close. The fenced back yard was perfect for my pup. Id heard sketchy things about the downtown area but I felt super safe and the area is actually really cute and centrally located to so many things! You want to stay here, Im sad I had to leave!
Comfort in a great location!
We had a fantastic stay at this comfortable guesthouse! It was quiet, clean, and also very stylish. We were thrilled that it was walking distance from down town so there were many awesome bars and restaurants near by. Definitely planning on booking this again on our next trip to Albuquerque!
