Great place to call home in a quiet, family friendly neighborhood, walking distance to UVA and the Medical Center! It is a basement apartment that has plenty of natural light, ceiling lights and nice furnishings. The host is friendly, responsive and flexible. She shares her backyard space that includes a nice size firepit with plenty of seating, patio and garden space that she generously allows her tenants to pick vegetables from. I had sold my house and had to be out quickly and was unsure how long I would need the space. The host was very kind and allowed me to extend my stay until I was ready to move into my new home. This cozy apartment is quiet, dog friendly and a perfect place to call home when you need a temporary place to stay. I was there 3 months and it would be perfect for travel nurses. I highly recommend this apartment that really has everything you need for a safe and convenient stay!
Great space in a great neighborhood with a landlord who was great to work with. It's a basement apartment with only storm windows, but still a pretty good amount of light. Great kitchen with a new stove/oven and everything you could ever need. It's a one bedroom, but it's huge. There's enough space to do pretty much any activity you could think of. The only downsides were that the space is oddly distributed in that the bedroom is the size of 2 or 3 bedrooms, while the bathroom is the size of a walk-in closet. The bathroom is also far from the bedroom when it's dark at night. Great backyard space with a fire pit, terrace, lots of furniture and garden space that the host gave us full access to
